Great little place in a very beautiful location. The service was wonderful and all the staff was super nice. The food came out... quick but wasn?t anything to write home about. It seemed very basic and not authentic tasting Mexican food like some otherreviews suggest. I had a chicken taco salad and the chicken was super wet and overly salted at the bottom of the bowl which madethe bowl it was in soggy (like a tostada bowl). Found great vegetarian options on the Hill. The veggie blend can be ordered in a smothered big burrito, tacos, tostada etc.... Listed as vegetarian, their classic refried beans didn?t have lard (always hard to be sure) and the flaky fluffy Mexican ricewasn?t made with animal broth. It was really nice to enjoy these flavors with confidence. And the staff had no trouble omittingcheese and sour cream. And being gluten-free, I can attest the corn tortillas and chips and the ranchero sauce are indeed GF. Read more
La casita is so delicious ????. Me and my dad drive an hour from Palm Springs to enjoy the wonderful food and the beautiful... scenery. We?ve been coming here for last 4 years and always great service. Food portions are pretty big and price is great. Read more
