If I ever had to drive through ignace again, I would stop solely for Clooch?s Tavern. This restaurant was over the moon amazing.... The atmosphere was great and exactly my scene. Rustic, I liked the finish inside. We went seated long when the waitress came over and asked what drinks we would like. She gave... us menus when she bought the drinks, gave us s few minutes and took our orders. I had a half taco salad and a half order ofwings. The salad had a good flavor, the veggies were fresh the hamburger was cold. Maybe I'm spoiled by my own homemade whichis always hot. But it still tasted good. I ordered the suicide wings, they were somewhat hot, I prefer sweet but these were verysalty, if you like heat and salty you will like them, they were hotter tjN Frank's hot sauce. Wasn?t sure how the quality of what seemed to be the only local restaurant in town would be like but what a surprise. The beer... was ice cold, the perogy pizza, fried pickles, and steak we got were absolutely amazing. The atmosphere really gives it that oldtown feel, and the service and everyone inside were super friendly. I recommend coming here if you?re passing through on a tripand staying here or even as a good lunch spot. They even offer deliver to the local motels if you don?t want to leave yourroom!! Read more

This is definitely the local bar and restaurant. The food was good, def recommend the BBQ burger, my partner also enjoyed the... 5am Alarm burger. The only reason I gave 4 stars was the service was a bit slow, although it is a small town and those who dospend their time there enjoy a few drinks. The poor girls were super busy with online orders as opposed to the tables. Overallgreat place !!! Read more
