Ok on my eat my way through cali tour lol...stopped at this spot for chorizo tacos.... was told, they cannot make chorizo... tacos??? But they can put chorizo in breakfast or burritos. THIS is what I found when I got home-I was too tired to bring it back. I didn?t eat it after taking one bite, it was horrible.... The shell was burned dark brown and it was half full with a sprinkling of lettuce on top, cheese pretty much non-existent. WishI had checked it out before I got home, I wasted $9 This has been our go to fast food Mexican place for 15+ years and I have tosay it?s really gone downhill the last year or so The girls are so rude with the exception of one who?s been there a longtime They act like I?m annoying them and many times I have gotten home to realize something is missing from my order, I ask for3 red sauce and she gives me one We won?t be going back I read a lot of the reviews and notice the owner only responds to thefavorable reviews Buyer beware, it?s hit and miss now with this restaurant Read more

Been visiting this place since 2016. Still one of the best carne asada burritos in SD that I love! Their Chile Relleno is... amazing too. This time I tried their surf n turf fries, and wow, with the chipotle sauce and jalapeño? Instant food coma!! Read more

Been coming to this place for a while now. Last night it was a disappointing experience as when my wife tried placing a phone... order she got hung up on. No big deal, we try again. We make the drive from San Ysidro to IB because this is ?our spot.? Secondtime we call the cashier answers the phone with a frustrated tone but is able to take our order. The whole time we?re on thephone there was loud arguing between the ladies running the front & the 2 cooks working the kitchen. I pull up 15 mins later &the cooks are teasing the cashiers. They kept saying ?a Que venimos?? (What did we come for??. Then the one pictured on theright says ?I?m just here to drink.? The taller girl kept asking both cooks to stop their behavior & everyone waiting for theirfood could clearly hear and see them go back and forth. It was disappointing & uncomfortable & although I do not know a backstory as to what the issue was, I felt like stepping in to help the cashier who was on the brink of tears. Fortunately my orderwas correct & the food was great as always. I hope my review can help correct the unacceptable treatment of each other runningthis fine place. Read more
