By far the best Mexican food I have had while traveling around the US. I?ve driven 5600 miles by the time I came here and eaten... at about 12 different Mexican places. I highly recommend them. Their menu is exquisite alone. Nothing on here reminds you of thestandard burrito taco enchilada choices by the thousands. It?s a very unique menu with many vegetarian choices and friendlyservice. This is a must on your list in Tahoe. Come here for an afternoon fiesta after swimming in the lake all day and dry outon their outdoor seating area. Best mojito as well. Not only is the food magnificent, but the people are amazingly nice and hospitable! My group arrived at about 8:15pm, not... knowing that they close at 9pm. When we did find out and asked them if they were sure we could stay, they assured us that wewere welcome and said to take our time. Awesome margaritas also! Read more

While the servers were friendly, I found the service slow and inattentive with the servers off to the side talking among... themselves. While the time at which I visited was not busy, I waited an inordinate among of time for my food. The food itselfwas "okay" at best. In the great Reno-Tahoe area, I have not found a sit-down dinner Mexican restaurant of merit. The onlyMexican restaurants of merit have been of the hole-in-the-wall type and they've been great.
