Very pricey but food is good. Customer service isn't great.

Oh my! The best pulled pork platter I have had in years! Restrus need to be cleaner... but the stop for food is worth it.
Very hometown but very good food. Nice folks running it too.
Stopped here on my way to New Orleans and picked up a pulled pork and brisket and destroyed it! It was so good. If I could go... back I would without hesitation. Read more
Oh my gosh... what a great experience! We ate outside under the old gas station canopy in the summertime. This was our first... time here and we ordered a variety of food to get a good sample of their style. Son number one got a blackened chicken sandwichthat wasn't dressed as ordered... but he still enjoyed it. Son #2 is a little younger and had the kid's burger and is alreadyasking when we can return! My daughter got the roast beef on bun and raved about the gravy. The wife's salad was full of morecroutons than lettuce and a little disappointing, too bad she didn't get the brisket salad. And finally, I had the brisketburger, not the ultimate... but it was still the ultimate! Hands down.. it is my new favorite burger. We will definitely beback... and soon. Read more
If you're on 55 now near exit 40 and feeling hungry for BBQ....STOP! We got brisket and pulled pork plates with 2 sides and... toast for $9.50 each. The meat was lean, tender and smoky. The portions were very good. We bought a couple buns on the side andmade a huge sandwich smothered in their house-made BBQ sauce and it was delicious! The baked beans were very good as wellinfused with green chilies which was a nice twist. Overall this quaint little place a few minutes off the Interstate is highlyrecommended! Read more
The food was awesome! The two young lady's at the front counter were very friendly and helped us decide what to order
