I was pretty disappointed with coming her the last time. Although I've been here several times and enjoyed their meals this time... around was a total different experience. I ordered a breakfast dish which I asked for scrambled eggs with chorizo sausage. Whenordered I expected the chorizo sausage to b mixed with the eggs like if you had ordered scrambled eggs w/bacon or potatoes. Thechorizo was super dry as was the eggs. The chorizo wasn't mixed with the eggs, they were in fact sprinkled on top of the eggs .The patties were like hockey pucks. The price I paid for this meal totally unacceptable for what I got. Arnold Palmer was alsomissing flavor even though I had asked it with sweet tea. Only reason I give it 3 stars is because of their desserts and pies. Iwill not be goin there to dine again. Read more

I was very disappointed in the food I picked up last night around 5pm. I ordered the Chicken Noodle dinner. There was maybe a... teaspoon of chicken in the dish. And I?m probably being generous saying that. The instant mashed potatoes were not good at alland the dressing was extremely dry. Food was great with fast service. Everything was good not a long wait time at all. I had the catfish it looked amazing until I... cut into it it was half raw. They apologized for the error gave me a new piece a little smaller but still very good and goodflavor. They took my meal off the bill a very class act place and very much worth going to. Corner cafe is one of our favorites, but not five stars with this visit. Service was excellent, water glasses were kept filled... and short wait time for food even though the place was packed. Pot roast/potatoes were good but warm and not the usual hot meal.Hoping this was a fluke and will continue supporting this business. Prices are in-line with competing diners. Read more
