Cuban Island is a wonderful... restaurant with a homey atmosphere, excellent customer service and delightfully delicious authentic Cuban cuisine. Claudia andDavid, in particular, always take a genuine interest in us having the best dining experience possible. They both listen andoffered suggestions and their own favorites. Amazing little Cuban restaurant. Small and cozy! Very clean and the service was AMAZING! The decor was so cute. There?s this... painting on the wall that just makes the place feel more homey. Our waiter was so sweet and so attentive (I?m sorry I forgot hername). We ordered chicken empanadas and the sauce that came with it was the perfect fit for it! I personally ordered the CubanPalomilla and I would order it 100x more! The seasoning to everything was PERFECT, aIthough I do wish more rice came with it butoverall I would totally recommend this place to anyone! Read more
Found this place looking for a decent Cubano. I was genuinely blown away by the knowledgeable and accomodating staff (our... server Garrett in particular). This is to say nothing of the food which was absolutely excellent. They serve both Cubanstaples as well as fresh-caught local fish. If you are in the area, make it a point to stop here. Read more
The service was great. Our server, David, was attentive and polite. The food was delicious. Well cooked, even and tasty... seasoning, and served with wonderful plating. This place is simply amazing. First off the Manager, Garrett greeted us as we entered and was really pleasant and helpful the... entire time, not just to us but everyone that entered the store. Our waiter was David, who was very sweet and thoughtful. Theprices were reasonable and portion sizes were large. The Cuban sandwich is the best I've had and the mussles were great!! Starting with that yes, the place is a bit pricey for Cuban food specially when you are used to paying Miami prices. With that... being said, this place has great tasting cuba dishes and great sandwiches. I had the Media Noche for lunch and couldn't finishit all. Definitely a must stop for authentic Cuban food.
