Went for the first time the other night to grab a cheese steak to go. Got it loaded with provolone. What can I say but it was... delicious! The bread was soft, steak was nice and moist but didn't make it's way into the bread such that it made a soggy mess.Had a nice overall flavor. I always read the bad reviews before going to a place and feel bad for people that have had a badexperience... Hopefully just a one off. Have told people about how good this place is .. will be back! Definitely solid food, though my husband said it wasn't the best cheesesteak he'd ever had. I had chicken and was pretty... pleased. They offer more than just fries for a side, which is nice. Four stars primarily because the ordering experience wasn'tgreat. I thought maybe the couple in front of us were just difficult, but it took us a couple minutes to negotiate our orders aswell since we were first-time visitors. Being first-time visitors, the menu also wasn't that clear if you were looking foranything but a cheesesteak. It had categories, but not a lot of detail or indication for why things were listed in those groups.The basics were there, but I found myself reading the entire menu to get oriented. If you're meeting a bunch of people for ameal, maybe carpool because the strip mall parking might get overloaded. Read more

I have visited this place many times over the years, though this visit was the first time in quite some time. Upon walking in... the smell of hot steak and cheese hits your nose which is always a welcoming experience. The menu is simple and to the point butI always get the same order: a small Philly with no onions or peppers, Cajun fries (I ask for extra crispy) and cheesesauce. It takes some time for them to prepare, but good food is worth the wait?. I so wish I could say this was worth it. For aSMALL Philly with only 2 ingredients, an order of fries, small drink and cheese sauce was $18!!! The quality of the food justisn?t there for that price. The bread was a tad stale, the cheese was almost non existent and the steak was over cooked. Thecheese sauce was great, the fries could have been crispier. Writing a negative review for a small mom and pop shop is hard, andthough I feel a tinge of guilt I cannot let that keep myself from being truthful. It isn?t worth the price. Had this meal been$10 all together then maybe I could justify the disappointing bread, lack of cheese and over cooked meat. But for near $20 Ifeel my money was wasted and there are so many great meals to be had for that price. Like another comment, we went to a famous place in Philly and I am so happy the BEST you can find is right here in my town. It... is consistently delicious. The crew is great. I always get Cooper cheese because it seals the deal on the delicious flavors inthe ribeye griddled perfectly with onions. They also have great tater tots and offer Birch Beer soda It is difficult to orderanything else, but the Reuben does look amazing too. I need to try it soon. My daughter enjoys the Philly veg.
