So to start 4 orders of wings and 2 pizza's (one cheese one Pep.) was $110 Dollars! We got the wings they were uneatable, Not... cooked, it was pink and gelatinous buy the bones. The pizza was GREESY and burnt. We contacted the shop through FB Messenger,Only to be told we were lying about the raw chicken we were looking at, and told we don't understand "fresh" wings. So surprised to find seriously good NY pizza on the central Adirondacks. Really great pizza dough/crust and sauce too, and any... real pizza lover knows it all starts on a great crust, and these guys nail it. Great sandwiches & tasty hot dishes. And yeah,the pizza! Most pizzas are truly excellent, have tried several items while visiting & camping nearby over past 3 yrs. They dosome very different specialty dishes & pizzas, very cool & not just the usual. I'll mention just one pizza not worth getting(unless it was a one-time mess-up & maybe they fixed it by now?), and that was the Margherita pizza; last time we ordered thatwas summer 2020 though on this one order occasion somebody decided it was OK to use a heavy layer of dried basil instead of realfresh basil leaves, on a Margherita pizza! Good God NO, never do that, bitter as hell. I hope that has changed or was aone-time mistake, & would ask & confirm that they're using FRESH basil before ordering the Margherita. If not, they should pullit off the menu. Every other dish & pizza we've ordered here has been really good to excellent. No hesitation, we return often,easily at least once per trip to Indian Lake. Wait time was over an hour and 20 min; it was explained to us that even though we ordered in person, the phone orders take... precedence because a ?ringing phone is more important.? Thus phone orders placed after our in person order were prepared first. Many people were waiting for long periods. Pizza was fair: good crust; light basic sauce; toppings average. Will not return. Great quality, bit pricey for location, veggie friendly Definitely recommended We were pleasantly surprised by Puterko's! The... garlic knots are amazing, the pizzas really good and the service is efficient and friendly. They have a selection of differenttypes of pizza to order from or you can just "design your own", which is great for any dietary restrictions. And they have VEGANCHEESE to substitute on the pizza (instead of regular cheese)...and it's delicious! Also: make sure to ask for extra home-madered sauce for your garlic knots, this stuff is good! Some of the best pizza I have yet to have! Crispy bottom to the crust with just the right amount of toppings. Great options and... unique ones too! From the Cowboy (chicken, onion, BBQ, cheese, etc) and the Polander (cheese, spicy brown mustard, kielbasa, andsauerkraut) posted below to regular pizza galore.
