Talk about closing my kitchen on weekends and still to be able to enjoy a meal that tastes fresh and tastes like the food back... home. I can?t remember many places that will be consistent with flavor and this is one of them. The food is always on point,lots of flavor, last meal was a bit salty but we still enjoyed it. The meat always has a unique taste that reminds me ofhomemade meals by my grandmother. Nachos are very good, their bowls are packed and one can feed two people. We went to Sabor in Indian Trail today. Wanted to get a quick bite to eat, indian trail Honda was working on my car down the... road. We haven?t had Spanish food in a while.? Wow! I have to say the nachos, empanadas, smothered fries (my NJ vernacular)truly excellent! Quite honestly we did the fries, darn I should?ve taken a picture of the menu, with the steak. It was the topleft of the menu. In any case excellent excellent excellent and I would definitely get it again. I?m not a fan of french friesas everybody knows quite well, lol! But the combination of ingredients and flavors in this dish? ?Great Latin comfortfood!? The Bowl was OK. NOT bad by any means, I appreciated each one of the dishes, on their own - steak and chicken - theingredients were fresh but I like the other mix of ingredients better. FYI I would still get a bowl but when I wanted arice/comfort component. The bowl was a little plain when compared to the combination of ingredients in the other dishes. Again,NOT bad. Just personal preference. Not to take away from the freshness or the portions - because as you can see by the pictures- the portions are definitely generous!! We got there sort of early, before 11:30 AM. I looked around and thought - wow it?skind of quiet. Then, the lunch rush came in! We highly recommend this location for the portions, the quality of theingredients, best of all? What an amazing staff. Just extremely professional, gracious, really honest about theirrecommendations when you ask what they preferred. Not sure if anybody?s gone to this Sabor, and I can?t speak to any otherlocation, but?.we will absolutely be back to this one. The nachos and empanadas were our favorite!? total bill with tip was$45. Yes, we had left overs ???? we wanted to try a few things. The last thing I?ll say, I would absolutely get the empanadasagain. Just went here for lunch on Tuesday and got the taco special and my food was amazing!! Got 2 Al pastor and 2 shredded chicken... tacos and they were nice and filled and everything tasted fresh and delicious, quite the deal too for $6 something. I was veryimpressed today :) Read more
We visit here often. Always so delicious and tasty. If it is busy then it can be a little slow getting your food. But so worth... it! Tacos, burritos, empanadas, nachos, everything is so good! Read more
Me my wife and my eight month old baby sat in the dining room waiting on our meals as 10 other customers came in and got their... meals quickly. we had already paid and sat down. We never received the food that we paid for, after 45 minutes of waiting Iasked did you forget about me they stared at me I had to force them to give me my money back so that I could go somewhere elseand get food pretty ridiculous. I placed a catering order (for 150 people) with the manager Alan. He was PHENOMENAL! He helped me plan out the meal and was so... easy to reach and work with. The day of the event everything was fresh and ready promptly and definitely hadn't been sittingaround. The order was split into 2 pickup times and he easily helped me make a last minute change to our evening order. Hisstaff was so helpful and attentive and even helped me maneuver cakes in the car to make sure everything fit without slidingaround. Please consider using them for any catering event! On 01-10-22, I purchased from here for the first time via Uber Eats. I ordered a chimi shrimp taco and the salvador fries... w/grilled chicken. Everything was still hot upon delivery. The fries were filling by themselves, but I wanted to try a tacobecause of the good reviews. The shrimp on the tacos were full sized & deveined. Both items were fresh & flavorful.
