If i could give zero stars I would. I ordered off the sonic app and it charged me for my order. I pulled into sonic and checked... in only to wait outside for 45 minutes. I stopped an amazing employee, Amaya, who completely understood the situation and triedher best to help. The incompetent managers however tried to call me a liar, stating that people scam the store for free food allthe time. This was after i showed my bank statement showing the charge from sonic. After another 45 minutes, they brought myfood out and said it had been in the back the entire time. It was cold. I later found out they fired the amazing employee whowas the only person who believed I placed an order. Please, make the drive to a different sonic Read more

When you ask for a strawberry shake and they give you some disgusting concoction that is a strawberry slushee with whipcream on... top. I guess they thought they?d teach us a lesson for hitting the button too soon? Not sure how else a mistake like thiscould even have happened otherwise. Is it too late to get the $5 tip back? ???? This is the first time in my life that I leave google review but the experience i had at this place is worse than horrible!!! I... used drive through.. First of all person who was taking my order wasn?t pleasant at all. I nicely told her multiple times toplease make sure we get plain burger with cheese. We ended up with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles and sauces on it. Meal wasfor my little one so of course he ended up not eating it. We didn?t get fried jalapeños even though we paid for it, tater totswere ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!! Dry and had burnt oil flavor. Mozzarella sticks were somewhat good compared to the rest of theorder. I had to wait for 25 minutes, and it probably would be longer if I didn?t: a) ask nice gentleman who was waiting to orderin patio area to please check why are we all waiting this long for food (which he ended up leaving and not ordering anything) b)stopped girl who works there to ask about my food. That?s when she brought it out. Needless to say I got COLD food. It wasprobably made on time and sitting on the counter for who knows how long!! I understand current situation with places being shortstaffed but communicating with customers about waiting time wouldn?t kill anyone and the fact that I waited that long at least iwas expecting warm food and not trash cold!!! Sunday (8/14) @ 4:10, my husband and I stopped into the Sonic, Indian Trail. We were in the line at the drive-thru with two... cars in front of us. When it was our turn to order, we were asked to wait. We did; about 10 minutes later we were asked forour order; which we placed. However, the order was not repeated back to us nor a total of our order given. We waited at thedrive-thru for someone to respond to which we received none. Another car pulled up behind us and left. About 20 minutes later,I went inside using the employee entrance to ask if our order had been received. The man (dark hair and mustache) looked at hisfemale counterpart. They said they had been taking orders; she mumbled that the drive-thru speaker was broken. I asked if weneeded to pull around to the drive-in. Both of them again looked at one another. I asked if they wanted our business. The manresponded that they actually don?t want my business. We pulled around to the drive-in to place our order. The female wasoutside with another customer and employee. She saw us. My husband pushed the order button; it flashed. However our order wasnot taken. We left and we will not return to Sonic, Indian Trail again. I have told this incident to friends, who have hadsimilar experiences at this location. I feel badly for this location owner to have employees who do not care if a customerreturns or not. Read more

Came to the restaurant to order a meal. Pulled into a self service bay to order. Waited 10 minutes with the light flashing. A... man came on to say they are only accepting drive through orders, an employee even passed me on her way back in from delivering amobile order and did not say anything, the proceeded to sit on a food prep table. Poor service. The problem is, I see themanagement is not doing anything about it reading through the comments. Read more

If I could rate a zero I would. Place a mobile order. My car hop brought the food out it was the wrong order. I sent it back... they bring me another wrong order. Fast forward an hour later I'm still waiting for my food the family is at home wondering whenthe food will be there.. I asked to talk to the manager I asked her name she immediately clocked a attitude . I called thecorporate number apparently they don't offer refunds. So here I sit an hour and fifteen minutes still waiting for a order thatshould have took fifteen minutes. After two hours I finally gave up apparently the manager decided to tell the cook to notcomplete my order and left me sitting in 100 degrees heat. My burger was fixed completely wrong and ice cold by the time I gothome I ended up throwing the entire order in the trash and went elsewhere for our brunch. Please don?t waste your time and hard earned money here. Wait times are absolutely atrocious, and management is about as... unapologetic as it gets. I had an especially unpleasant with one of the managers here, Ruby, I believe. DEFINITELY not settingan example for her employees of what good customer service looks like. Read more

Worst customer service ever! Bad management and rude manager. I went there for picking up online order through uber eat. I?ve... been told to line up in the drive through. The pick up instruction from says to park and get into the restaurant to pick up thefood! So I did. When I ask if the order from 40mins ago has been ready, I manager quickly told me to get out and wait in drivethrough. He didn?t even tell me if the order is ready (I just need to know so I can decide if I should cancel the order). Healso called the police!! When the police came I explained everything and he totally understand. This place should be closeddown. I understand about staff shortage, but if the business cannot fulfill the order then don?t accept the order. Smartmanager will stop accepting online order. Put up the signs to let the customer know to use the drive through. There were 6 carsleft while waiting in the line because they can?t even make an order. The slots were closed or do not work. So every car had towait in the drive through. Please don?t waste your time and energy going here. I spent over an hour for nothing. Read more
