This place is such a classic throw back to what I can imagine Italian eateries were back in the 50's and 60's heyday. Everytime... I eat here I'm so waiting for Joey Walnuts or Bobby No-Nose to walk in and grab a bite. It's has that type of feel to me. Theyliterally coulda shot the eating shots of The Irishman here. So that's describes the atmosphere but how about the food?Absolutely delicious! It's a perfect match of the classic feel. Those amazing classic Italian flavors. The tomatoes and andgarlic followed by the remaining ingredient of the holy trinity.... Onion along with the blend of spice and herbs every bite wasamazing. The pasta was done to perfection and really tasted made in house. The house wine went well with dinner. Do you and yourfamily a favor, try this amazing classic Italian eatery. Awful! I had a hot sausage sandwich and didn't know which was worse...the stale bun or the over cooked sausage. I did get to... taste a bit of what friends ordered and it was not very good. Also charging for the dressing on my salad, I can't think of anyrestaurant that does that. New owners, same menu but please change something! Read more
Went for Dinner there. Only 2nd time there. As always it was so very good! The food was good and hot and I wish we lived closer.... The Peanut-butter pie was a great end to a lovely evening! Read more
Maybe our uber driver was hungry? This was our 1st experience with Bruno's rest. My husband ordered manicotti with meatballs and... sausage there wasn?t much food in the container. Had it been $10 I'd be like okay that's not bad, but I think it was $26 orsomething close to that :( . My son ordered wings and a pizza it was his birthday and I asked in the notes if they would writehappy birthday on the box for him, they printed a note and taped it on. How Awesome is that!!! Fast Friendly service with great food! A must stop if in Indiana, PA
Dined in recently for dinner. Every person working that evening was friendly and service was excellent. I was disappointed... though that the menu was a bit smaller than what?s online. I ended up getting a chicken salad (pictured). It was pretty good. Read more
We went to HR Steinhouse--right next door--another part of the restaurant to see our son's band Herbivore play. We did not know... exactly what to expect but it was not only a fantastic atmosphere but had delicious food too! Our waitress was amazing and alsoa saint to put up with all of us! Thank you!
