Went to Applebee's for a celebration dinner of our daughters coming in second place at the cheer competition. The waiter Shaun... we had was a little clueless and not very helpful. missing food, orders not right. We asked for a manager Brittany assistwith the request quickly we spoke to the manager James and explained all of our concerns He made everything right food finallycame out everything was great. Lived in Indy 1.5 years, worst dining experience by a mile 1. Was my daughter's birthday. The place we originally wanted to go... had a full hour wait, so we came here as we have had good experiences at other locations (out west). 2. 3 of 8 tables in seatingsection occupied, will all of those leaving, but we still had to wait 20+ minutes for a table? 3. Server tried to deliver ourappetizers to the next table over. 4. When entrees arrived (exactly one hour after entering) servers tried to deliver our foodto the same next table over...who already had their food. 5. After entrees arrived, we noticed there was no silverware! Went tothe bar to ask for some, they said they'd bring some over...never did. I found some in a bin towards the front of therestaurant. 6. Our beverage glasses had been empty for 45 minutes, including all the way through our dinner. Took cups to barfor a refill and was told a large drink order was in front of me and she'd bring some to us. She did, 15 minutes later. 7. Wasobvious the servers just didn't care. Yes they were short staffed and probably overworked, and the indifference and lack ofconcern for their customers was sad to see. Almost like they knew they were doing a poor job, but management won't hire morehelp, and at a certain point the customers won't tip anyway, so why try. Final thoughts. Walked in door at 8:59, entrees servedat 10:00, walked out at 10:30. Solid Business 101 lesson that having a franchise guarantees you a steady flow of one timevisitors drawn by the restaurant name only. It's obvious this location banks on that as they probably find it difficult relyingon return customers. Left a decent tip anyway. Just please in the future at least pay a little attention to your customers.Management: I believe you know what's going on at this location. You'll never get us back again, but if you improve you may getsomeone to visit twice. Read more
Came here after The Colts game today, got the bourbon chicken with shrimp and it was delicious! Despite the Staff being... shorthanded, Simone and Shaune were very friendly and gave excellent service! I highly recommend this spot!! Read more
Our server was so sweet and responsive plus our meal was prepared to perfection.
We are from greenwood. My mom is having heart surgery up here so we stopped here for a quick bite. It was around 5pm Monday... evening. Our server was the manager I believe. He was really kind and working hard. Thank you sir for making us feel close tohome. You were very kind and pleasant for being the only person we seen working other that a cook! Amazing experience, was doing work in the area and decided to stop in. Our waitress was amazing, kept drinks coming, and was the... funniest waitress I've ever had. Food was hot and fresh, and was gotten to us extremely quickly. We had a table of 6 andeveryone was taken care of in a timely fashion. Read more
I love the service and food here. They are understaffed so have patience, be kind and maybe don't go during peak times expecting... everything to be perfect. Servers are humans, too. I work near this and we always get carryout. Do not sit in your car waitingfor the only server to come out and bring your food. Walk in and get it. Dine in is really great, too and I've never had anyissues with the service. They are all so sweet! I love the riblets, burgers, wonton tacos and mozzarella sticks. Read more
