The food was awesome! Drinks were great. The restaurant was clean and nice. All around a fantastic visit. The only hard part was... finding parking where I wasn't afraid of getting towed and then finding the door. But now that I know I can't wait to pop bynext time I'm in town. Read more

Delicious cider and crispy fries -- can't ask for much more! The sunset tart cherry was an awesome choice for an afternoon... beverage, it had a good balance of sweetness to dryness. The fries are really the best part of Ash and Elm. They are very crispyand the sauces are great. The charcuterie board is underwhelming and came with one piece of cheese -- what a bummer. It wasn'tworth $20 in my opinion. Read more

I never knew this hidden gem was located in Washington Street. I?ve seen it mentioned a few times and definitely driven by it.... I decided to find where it was and go eat! A group of 3 met for dinner last night. I?ve never tasted a cider I liked butdecided to go for it. I got the semi-sweet and a friend did the flight. You can choose any 4 ciders and they are $2.75 each. Ithink that?s a great deal. Mine was very good and I drank the whole glass. Surprised the heck outta me. His favorite was theSunset with had cherries in it. I wish I would have asked to try it. The other three are the semi-sweet, the margarita, and thefleeting youth. He enjoyed all of them. Now on to the main event. THE FOOD. If you?ve seen any of my post you know I(we) gohard. Tonight we chose 3 appetizers: The fries with choice of 3 dipping sauces. We couldn?t make a choice so got all six. Herewas my preference 1. Atomic Mustard(leaps and bounds above the rest) 2. ketchup 3. Pesto 4. Spicy Ranch 5. Garlic Aoili 6. LimeCrema Next we got the herbed deviled eggs and the Brussels sprouts. The eggs had a mild flavor and I loved the addition of thefried capers on the top. The star of that plate was the pickled onions. I don?t know what they use to pickle them but I wannadrink it. I seriously think I could eat a whole bowl of them. The pickles on the plate were quite spicy but good. The Brusselssprouts were fried. The outside was crisp but the inside was still soft. I think they tasted really good. They used one of theirciders to make a gastrique sauce to coat them in. So far everything is going perfect. Time to order the entrees. A couple of uscouldn?t chose so we decided to each get 2 so we could try all the things. I decided on the Fish special which was halibut, those pickled onions, and Shaved Brussels sprouts with cherry tomatoes and the Bugolgi beef noodle bowl. The bowl had pickledmushrooms(yum!) bulgolgi beef, runny egg, kimchi, green onions, and broccolini atop noodles. Anot Read more

Very friendly, competent staff (props to Camille). The cider is, as you would hope, fantastic. My girlfriend and I each enjoyed... a flight?dry for her, sweet for me. Every single one was delicious. Then an appetizer of fried elotes fritters (a great mix ofcornmeal & sweet corn with a dusting of cotijas, chili powder, and lime). I had the corvina (fried white fish with creamedspinach & pickled red onions) that was light and delicious. My girlfriend had the vegan sloppy Joe (lentils and quinoa) withvegan cheese (very glad they had that available) which was the right mix of sweet and savory. We ended up grabbing their ciderof the month 12 pack (I know what's going in my stocking this year) too. Really glad we tried it! Read more

Ash & Elm is a fun place. Amazing cider. Well thought out cocktails and menu with quite a lot of vegetarian/vegan options. Elote... fritters and Devilled eggs is a must try. Ratatouille and the eggplant sandwich is good but can be better. Donuts were not thatexciting and also it took very long at not so busy time. We absolutely loved the cider especially the tamarind ones. It?s aperfect place to hangout with friends and a nice cider time! Read more

This is a good restaurant. We did not have reservations but since it was a week day, we were able to get seats quickly. The new... menu is very good with enough vegetarian options. The Elote Fritters are a must have. The Grilled Eggplant sandwich is good aswell although the fries were too salty and soggy. The donut holes were the most disappointing though. The cider selection isgreat and we loved both of our drinks. Since this is a new spot, once the kinks are worked out, everything else would fall inplace. Read more

It?s everything I?ve loved about Ash & Elm in an incredible new facility! So much more parking, better location and loads more... space for sampling and sipping with friends! For those who are unfamiliar, Ash & Elm is Indy?s best cidery, in my opinion.Their standards include a full range from dry to sweet with lots in between, and they all have a refreshing, fruit-forwardflavor that you look for in a good cider. Plus their seasonal offerings are always unique and delicious! The hot mulled cider isone of my annual favorites, so I hope it comes back this winter. With the new location, I?m so glad to see more food offerings, including a few entrees to go along with the sandwiches. The menu isn?t extensive, but it?s a good variety and the portions aresubstantial enough that you can have a real meal as you enjoy your cider rather than just some bar nibbles. I love theindustrial look of the space, but unfortunately that also makes it quite loud with all the echoes off the concrete, glass andhigh ceilings. So this probably isn?t your spot for an intimate date night, but it?s great for enjoying laughs with friends overa few drinks. Read more
