We recently order food to go for our whole family as part of a school fundraiser. Hadn?t been back since Covid but will... definitely be going again soon! The menu had so many great options and kids loved the pizza! Had a nice convo with a couple atthe bar who were clearly regulars. The beauty of this place is the real pub environment. Staff was nice and appreciative of business. Food was pretty good too.
We always get great service and food here! We received great service from Dakota at Broad Ripple Tavern! She was wonderful, so... charismatic and just overall a well trained and practiced server! Really good restaurant with plenty of vegan and vegetarian options. I liked the violet's vegan burger, but I think it would... taste so much better with fries rather than chips. Will definitely be back to try the other vegetarian dishes. Read more
I took my daughter and granddaughter in for our Thanksgiving meal since we aren?t able to be together on Thursday and the food... was delicious but the server we had needed to brush up on her customer service skills. After she took our drink order of 2waters and one iced coffee she asked if we needed sugar and cream, my granddaughter said yes please. She brought our drinks outpromptly but forgot the sugar and cream. We waited 10 minutes for her to come out and get our food order, again,understandable. As she was walking into another part of the restaurant I raised my hand to get her attention and asked if shecould bring napkins, cream and sugar. She slowed down, stopped right behind my daughter and granddaughter, my granddaughter waswatching her too, the server turned her head slowly towards us, raise her eyebrows, did a little sideways nod with her head,paused, then slowly say - ?Yeah? and turned her head back around. I didn?t ask her for anything major and her attitude reallycaused my granddaughter to think about how we were just treated. ???????????? I know the server may have been busy but again,we weren?t asking for anything difficult, we were good guests and only ordered 2 meals, vegan sloppy joe and fries and pepperonipizza and fries so it?s not like our order was complicated. I?ll go back but if I take my family there again we?ll ask to besat in someone else?s section if she?s the server there. *And she never once asked how our food was after she served it.*Customer service 101 - asks guests how the food is.
