Overall, good quality burger. I've gone there twice. I ordered the mushroom burger without raw onion. Speaker confirmed no raw... onion but it came with raw onion on it anyway. Otherwise: Pros: Good size burger and that patty was perfectly cooked. Verythin crispy outside and thick juicy patty. Flavor was outstanding. Came very hot and fresh. Cons: Service got the order wrongand was kinda slow given how slow the restaurant was. Also the box was placed in the bag sideways, which made the burger squishto one side. Both times I went I was not given a receipt. Had to ask for it. Overall: I'd say 3.5 out of 5. I would definitelytry it again. Read more
If you are from NAPTOWN, then you know all about the legendary white box of Long?s Donuts but I now want to introduce you to the... new Legendary White Bag of NAPTOWN from California Burger!!! Not overrated at all as they exceeded my expectations by a longshot! The only thing that I wish was better was the drive thru but after it was my turn, The Customer Service, Presentation &Taste of the food was 5 Star! For a little over $15, I ordered a Double Bacon Cheeseburger with extra cheese, curly fries and aPeanut Butter Shake and BOY!!! The quality of the meat was really good, the curly fries were nice, crispy & fresh and the peanutbutter shake was pretty flavorful as well! I can compare California Burger to In & Out Burger of the west coast Or Shake Shackof the Midwest and California Burger is by FAR the best of the three! #AccordingToArmon If you ever come to Indianapolis, thenyou have to come to California Burger! First, I love small burger joints. This was a good visit. The wait at the drive thru was a little long, but the customer service... was good. The burger tasted ok, nothing special. Fries were ok too. The food isn't special, but it's a great option if you'resick and tired of McDonald's or Five Guys. Read more
Tried California Burger today after hearing so much about it. We weren?t disappointed. We each tried the avocado burger and were... impressed with the flavor and amount of avocado! The burger was well seasoned and the bun was perfectly toasted. The place isdrive through only right now and depending on when you go, there may be a bit of a wait. Definitely worth checking out though. Read more
Avocado Bacon burger, pretty sure they forgot the bacon. The patty was decent but wasn't special imo, the avocado and secret... sauce were really tasty and made it a winner. I also liked the toasted bun which supported everything without needing to havetoo much bread. The fries were spectacular, well seasoned and crispy. Their Dr. Pepper is also better than most fountains outthere. Super nice staff. Overall good value for $10. Read more
We had just left the AMC one night after taking the kids to the movies. Decided we wanted to try something new seeing how I'm... from California. One word absolutely delicious. The only thing I would recommend is going easy on the seasoning on the fries.Other than that the burgers were delicious the curly fries were so yummy. My daughter really enjoyed her nuggets and my sonenjoyed his cheeseburger. We definitely will be back!! Read more
This place is just as good, if not better than In-N-Out. The menu selection has some very unique burgers. Their burgers were... fresh and really tasty. You can really tell they craft each burger to perfection. The shakes are amazing; make sure to try thebanana if you?re into shakes. My only gripe was that the chili cheese fries were a bit on the salty side though. Highlyrecommended! Read more
Our meals are always top-notch here! The food is amazing, and we?ve never run into any issues aside from the line being long.... But trust me, it is worth the wait. I especially love the avocado burger, and they have the best fries in Indy! Even the drinksare better than other fast-food locations. Read more
