Lovely Mediterranean bistro with plenty of seating indoors and outside. I had the Mediterranean Beach cocktail with coconut rum,... pineapple juice and a splash of champagne and it tasted tropical and refreshing. I ordered the stuffed grape leaves and canhonestly say they were the best I have tasted! Served slightly warmed with dipping sauce. My entree was the Shawarma salad withchicken. The chicken serving was generous and included the house dressing as well as a side of the garlic sauce. The chicken wastender and so flavorful! The house made garlic sauce was light and fluffy with an egg white base and garlic flavor. It wasdelicious! Server Hayley was the best! Read more
Pleasantly-atmosphered Mediterranean restaurant. Service was attentive, friendly, and prompt without being overbearing. Had... the calamari, Moussaka, and Fattoush. All delicious. Wife had the lamb kebabs and Tabouli. Both great - absolutely loved theTabouli. Wonderful place to stop while out and about in Broad Ripple, especially on a warm summer day like today. Read more
Beautiful place for brunch with indoor and outdoor seating options. You can see the canal even when seated indoors! Interior is... also gorgeous and spacious with a bar too. PRO TIP: They have a small parking lot on the side of the restaurant. There'sprobably space for 10 or so cars. I brought my parents here to try Mediterranean food for the first time Sat for lunch. Iordered the chicken and waffles since that's what I was in the mood for. Our waiter was courteous and checked up on us from timeto time. Read more
We came here for a date night, always awesome when a restaurant has open table so already off to a great start. Got seated... quickly great atmosphere inside located in that awesome area of Broad Ripple. We got the sampling platter for appetizer Whichwas fantastic came with tons of food. We also got beef shawarma plate and a gyro sandwich plate. Tabouli salad was fresh, greattextures and delicious. The hummus and pita that comes is amazing, cannot get enough but have to save room for all the food thatyou get with your meal. The french fries with feta cheese were amazing. The whole time our service was impeccable and our waiterwas super friendly. For dessert we had some of the most amazing and fresh baklava I’ve ever had. The customer service was outstanding, very friendly and constantly offering to fill drinks. They provide pita bread and dipping... oil which was delicious. I got the gyro platter and salad. We will go back again. It was freezing when we went, but they have apatio and cool view of the canal. Read more

I adore lamb racks. Have lamb racks, I'll be there! And Canal Bistro has one of the best and most beautiful lamb racks I've ever... savored. It's now my go-to place in Indianapolis for lamb because it's a good portion at a fair price and comes with rice. I'mAsian... rice is life! All that we ate was delicious. Great service too. Definitely will go back for more lamb and much more.And the lamps in the restaurant are gorgeous. Read more
