I can't give this place enough praise. We stopped here on a whim during a road trip from WI to OH, and I'm dead serious when I... say that I would drive four hours just to eat here again. We even stopped by again on our drive back home for lunch. The foodwas sublime both times! This restaurant is filled to the brim with good food and good vibes. I heard a LOT of reviews of Chapati and couldn?t wait to try it. Step in and the ambience takes you back to Indian roots - the... seats set up with Carrom board which is a very popular game in India. Shelves decorated with popular spices and a whole lot ofdiversity defining decor. I much appreciate the variety. Food tasted very authentic, fresh and spice level was very decent. TheChicken boti and side chutney (dip) was a stellar combo. The garlic kulcha (tortilla) wasn?t too garlicky and absolutely softand fresh. Loved the Asian style of serving dishes which is very common in India and Pakistan. The retro Indian music added tothe touch! Wanted to give 5 star but service was slow, food preparation was slow, it took them 30+ mins to serve our order. The food tastes... okay. The chicken wrap could be better. Nihari and the Butter Chicken and Garlic Naan Bread and everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. Highly recommend trying theBeef Nihari! And just be aware that the butter chicken is not the traditional Indian style butter chicken it is Pakistani Styleand is chock full of flavor spice and fresh chicken! As for dessert I HIGHLY recommend getting Falooda! It originates from thePersian Empire.
