Ive been wanting to come try Che Chori forever and I finally got to today. We got 4 empanadas, the pollo rojo, Argentinian... chorizo, birria, and the banana dulce de leche. They were all amazing!!! The best by far was the pollo rojo. The chorizo one wasdelicious and cheesy, could have used a bit more sausage but besides that they were all stuffed in filling with a perfect fried,flaky crust. The banana one rolled in cinnamon sugar, and was surprisingly not too sweet. The service was friendly and quick. ICANNOT wait to come back and try more of the menu! The food here is delightful and the menu options are impressive. Everything is super fresh and made to order. The prices are... reasonable and the staff is friendly. Down side is fresh food isnt always fast food and Che Chori doesn't offer indoor seating.Listen, I try not to give out 5 star reviews unless the place deserves it. Che Chori deserves 5 stars because their foodreflects love and respect for the culinary arts and pressing boundaries to offer food that warms your soul and may expand yourwaistline ????. Read more
Amazing Argentine cuisine! We tried 5 different empanadas. My favorites were the Argentine Chorizo, buffalo Chicken, Humita. The... cheesy pineapple bacon and birria were also good. We definitely will be back to try some of the other flavors. Restaurant is setup for drive up ordering and a separate lane for drive up pick-up online & phone in orders. Once placing a drive up order youpull around to a spot and they bring it out. The staff was very friendly and helpful with questions. Great local place to getawesome cuisine. They also have a option to buy a dozen for a little better price. We ordered (3) per adult and werefull/happy with our meal. They held up well (not soggy) and were still warm after a ~28 min drive home. We read on their websitethat they could be reheated which I feel is very accurate, and we will probably get a 12 pack next time to have leftovers. Wehighly recommend this newer restaurant!!! Been meaning to come for awhile, now just mad we didn't sooner. Everything we had was delicious! We ordered the choripan and... porchetta sandwiches they came with chips (thick cut and crunchy) and fries (best we've had in Indy lightly seasoned, crispy onthe outside creamy on the inside). The chimichurri sauce is amazing on everything including the chips. Churros and dulce deleche sauce were also fantastic. Can't wait to come back and try everything else on the menu! Read more
This place has amazing food all made from scratch. I've tried many menu items and I don't have a complaint about any of them.... Food is hot and fresh. Best fries in Indy. Do yourself a favor and stop in and get some empanadas or one of their signaturessandwiches. Drive thru or walk up only. Their location is in an old Rallys at 16th and Kessler. Read more
If you havent tried Che Chori, what are you waiting for? We ordered the buffalo chicken and birria empanadas. The Bondipan which... is a pork sandwich with fried eggs, lettuce, tomato, mayo, mustard, and pickles. This sandwich was delicious! We also orderedthe El Vavio steak sandwich. It was also very yummy, but the steak was a little to thick for our liking. I would still recommendthis sandwich! Everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. Since we had to wait more than the promised 15 mins, they threw in anorder of churros. If you go for anything, the empanadas and churros are worth it! The staff were all very kind. This little gem in Speedway was really good! We?ve been meaning to go since we saw the sign but we went this week and it was... great. The empanadas here are awesome and their fries are awesome! Their prices are really good. The only thing is that it ismostly a take out restaurant and they only had outdoor seating and the bugs were as hungry as we were. We will be coming heretime and time again for some good comfort food, Argentine style! Read more
