The food isn't flavorful. My daughter and I ordered brisket,pulled pork, ribs, brisket chilli cheese frys, Greenbeens,mac and... cheese, and potato salad. Pulled pork is a little dry, brisket was tender but seemed off somehow. Unfortunately everything wasnearly flavorless. I gave a star for atmosphere and a star for service because both of those things were ok. If it's Thursday,friday or Saturday I highly recommend Smokin Barrel BBQ. I ordered almost 50 dollars worth on DoorDash. Waited about a hour for it to arrive. When it did half my order wasn?t even... there. I got the 2 two meat plate special. So 4 meats and 4 sides. Plus I ordered an extra side. I received 2 meats and 2 sides.Like seriously?! Why can?t we double verify that a customers to-go order is all there? I doubt if I?ll order from here again. Read more
Salad had multiple brown, dead, old pieces of lettuce. Could not eat. Beef brisket was not well trimmed and was about 40% fat.... Chicken was dry. Won?t be repeating business. Read more

Wonderful place for Bar b Que, they have no chicken, or fish on the menu. Many have asked me. I can tell you the pulled pork,... and the Brisket is so tender. Very nice selection of sides, it's a must-do spot-on if you are on this side of town! And theyhave Free Self-serve ice cream! Great experience! Read more

Super friendly staff. They even kind of made it seem like they enjoyed being there. All of the people coming in were friendly... too. The quality of food was on par for chain bbq. Loved the free ice cream and the soda fountain selection was on point withHi-C fruit punch and orange available. I would stop in again if I was on a road trip. Read more
Been to this location 3 times after finding it. I found this place for the first time in Coldwater, MI while on the way to drop... my daughter off to her mother. Sadly, it closed. However, I was very excited to find one in Travers City, MI while on vacation.So I decided to search for one in Indy. The brisket is phenomenal! Wings are delicious! Ribs are great! And the Turkey andSausage are off the hook! Young man at the front is excellent, very professional, friendly and even keeled, and respectful. TheMen behind the smokers are very much so as well.
