What the Formosa! My family and I wanted to try something new. We seen Formosa online and decided to try it. Walking into the... place, it was way nicer on the inside than the outside, but it did have a little smell to it (I didn't notice the wishingfountain, because the fountain wasn't on so the water must have been the smell...I hoped.) The placed was a bit empty but youcould see the obvious difference of who the waitresses catered too. The customers that were there with asian-decent and spokethe language did get seem to get more attention. While others just got the pass by attention. The food looked old and some werelike rocks. It's like if you weren't in the know, than you weren't getting that table service that we observed otherreceiving. This review is not about race at all. It's about the food. The food had me in the bathroom all night and literallythe entire day the following day. Forget the service, the quality of the food is my issue. This was my first buffet since Covid. As expected the price is higher. The quality of food items is not the same. The pre-made... salads looked like they are saved and put back out. The fresh salad offered lots of choices. The hot foods were not appealing. Itried a few meats, but some had no taste. They had a rice with vegetables but only had onions over. It was like two white ricesections. No fried rice. Noodles looked old and were stiffed. I didn't try the grill but that would have been a goodchoice. They had a small variety of sushi. It seemed as they put out a few to say it was on the menu. Desserts had no chocolatepudding. I expect this at most buffets. The ice cream choices were as shown in the picture. Friendly crew. My partner enjoys eating Asian foods so I tried finding a buffet. The reviews were mixed but we decided to try it anyway. The... food on the bar seemed fresh and hot. The hibachi bar was nice but small. The hibachi cook did a good job cooking. There was notmany seafood choices as the restaurant name suggests. The service was good. The bathrooms definitely need a good cleaning or ableach spray down as there is a strong odor of urine at the bathroom area. You can also smell it at the hallway leading towardsthe bathroom. If they adjust the smell the rating could go up. The bathroom odor definitely affected the experience. The pricewas decent for the food. Read more

Clean and hygienic restaurant with many choices & varieties of food at the buffet table. Worthy to spend for. Sushi lovers -... it’s for you. Mostly a Chinese food and cuisines but not authentic or traditional. Just a regular sea food buffet with moredeep fried items. That’s why it gets a less rating when compared to others in town.
