Very good burgers and excellent fries. Try the fry sauce!! Very friendly and helpful staff offering speedy service. Plenty of... seating in the dinning area, they also have a some tables on the patio for eating outside. Stop in and try them, its betterthan the usual fast food burger places. Delicious burgers, skinny fries, good portion sizes at a reasonable price. I enjoyed my Original Double. The bun was soft and... flavorful, the patties had a crispy edge and the pickles, onions and condiments gave the burger a fantastic taste. The servicewas decent. My only complaints would be the music and the temperature inside the dining area. They had 90's music playing andthe acoustics inside the restaurant made it seem loud. The place seems more like a 50's diner, so the song choices seemed not tofit the setting. It was also a bit cold inside the restaurant. I left my coat in the car, but I wish I had worn it inside. If Ihad picked up my order I probably would have rated this a 5. I really enjoyed the food. Read more

Good food, good custard, giant portions. I didn't catch the name of the cashier working, but he spoke directly to my 6 year old... to take her order and also put extra sprinkles on her sundae. It made her feel like a million bucks. Working the counter of fastfood is stressful, but he made dining in a great experience, so props to him. Read more

Ordered just a patty melt and added bacon, seemed like the rye bread that normally would've been great was soaked heavily in... butter... Thin bacon that was ok at best but the meat in the patty melt and the onions were good... Chili cheese fries haddecent amount of chili and not much cheese, shoestring fries that were undercooked or just oily, when mixed with the chilicheese you really can't tell but they weren't crispy at all... Retro, cool American style fast food with burgers, hot dogs, custard, and more. Custard is killer! Burger (single with cheese... at 400+ calories) was good and she really liked the patty melt. Watch what they ring up as I ended up with fries and paying fora 'combo meal' which I did not say but they refunded the fries. Did I mention the great custard ???? which I would return for? Seemed to have ample employees and the manager was very friendly about the refund and even came over to the take to ask if allwas okay or if we wanted a box to go. They had sweet tea which does not seem to be common in Indiana. Great place for thatthrowback burger and custard experience. I had to go with 4 stars due to the error but they handled it very well! Well .... the first time we ate there burgers were put together well and toppings were correct. The last 2 months they must of... changed cooks or something cause we have to rebuild out burgers. They're just slopped about and look like a 5 year old builtit. Fries are now POUNDED with seasoning. Burgers are great but that's AFTER you get it, rebuild it and navigate the ketchup,mustard, etc on your bun as it's ALWAYS poured in just one spot ???????????????? Guess for the higher price they switched to'we don't care' mode and sloppy service. Also had to go in TWICE cause they didn't listen to corrections at all. Please get ittogether. I'd love you again if ya do ???????????????? 2 instead of 1 star cause of great burgers. Staff in back is yourissue Update - 5 STARS NOW. Well as promised in our email after my review things seem much better. Sandwich was plain asordered and very good. I have added 4 more pictures. Customer service by Michaha was great too. There was no issue or botherwith comp'd sandwich you provided. The time to get food was a little less than 4 minutes but that's a good thing causeeverything was hot and fresh!!!!
