I read the reviews and saw that they were not the best. However, I ordered tonight and when I arrived I noticed the restaurant... was very clean. I did wait as others had said that carry out takes a while. Food was fresh and very hot. Nothing but goodexperience tonight. Read more
Ordered sweet n sour chicken. I'm not sure it was chicken, at wasn't fresh batter chicken. there were no vegetables just deep... fried "chicken " in one container, rice in another and Sweet sour sauce in another.. this dish wasn't very good.. the ricewith SS sauce was only thing good with this meal.. I've never had any of their other meals so I can't comment about those.. Theother choices are probably much better. But as for now never again will I get Sweet n sour from here.. Read more
Seemed like nice folks, but the food just didn't do it for me. I judge Chinese Restaurants by two things the first time I eat... there- General Tso's Chicken and Hot and Sour Soup. If they do those well then I am in. Mine did not do it for me. I willconsider them in the future, maybe a bad day, but I couldn't finish my order there was just something off about it. Read more
Food is not seasoned well. Also don?t waste time calling your food in early, they won?t make it until you show up anyways and... you?ll have a full wait. Gone down hill bad. It is cheap tho Read more
Great food. Just don't get the lo mein. Crab ragoons are the best. Their rice has a good buttery taste. The chicken! Always... juicy! I get why they kind of wait for you to get there before really making your food, but sometimes I would order late Nightdinner while working and would still have to wait. I live an hr and half away now, but when I come to town I always stop.Chicken sticks are bomb! The woman is real sweet despite your initial impression. Read more

They didn't start making our large call ahead order until we arrived, which seems to defeat the purpose. Also failed to send any... utensils, which to be fair may have been our fault. But the staff are nice and the food is great. Portions are big and pricesvery reasonable. The menu has a huge variety and it all seems pretty good. In particular I really liked the Szechuan wontons. We've been getting carryout from Golden China for over 20 years. This is a family run restaurant that has the best Chinese food... in the area. Have been to many around but always go back here. The food is what you would expect from a Chinese carryout butbetter than the rest on the westside of Indianapolis. Don't be in a hurry. It's just Mom and Dad working and everything is madeto order.
