My husband and I went here for date night and it was absolutely lovely. The menu was reasonably priced and absolutely delicious.... The hot sake went down like water and next time I go, I'll make sure to get an XL it was so good. The food was phenomenal andthe chefs quite a lot of fun. AMAZING!!! The food is always great here. And if you like southern sweet tea you'll drink a pitcher before you leave the place.... Lol. Also the staff have always been great to me. Took my husband here for his birthday, service here is great! The food is really good it was both our first time at a Japanese... steakhouse. I love the way they cook the food in front of you. The tricks they do on the grill is very nice the big flames andthe atmosphere is great! The only reason i give 3 stars is the fact that we were dining in and before we even finished our foodthe server came bringing to go boxes? the check was brought out, and the grill and table was already being prepared for thenext set of diners. It was just us at the table the checks was being brought out to everyone. I want to say it was about 10minutes into our meal before it was time for everyone to go. Location: parking is very adequate and ease of access to the restaurant was quite good. Interior: Decor was done quite well but... there are some expectation lowering items for a location that has recieved such reviews. The floors in the main areas vary fromquite worn out to lack luster in nature along with a sense of a cleaner that has caused a film of dirt to just be smeared aroundthe floors. The bathrooms felt very sticky to the effect of being on a soda soaked theater floor along with general uncleaninessand haphazard design leaving the areas to feel as if they are forgot about even in cleaning them. Food: Food was presented welland had a great variation of design and flavors. sushi selection, presentation, and flavor was quite good however the hotoptions recieved seemed to leave room for improvemennt. Staff: Attentive in the beginning wavering to "there is something moreimportant on my mobile phone than my job." Overall: Yes it is a Japanese restaurant and does have the standard options ofcuisine that you would commonly recieve but there isn't a factor for me to want to frequent this place.
