First time ordering for Lou Malnati?s. Ordered my my husband, Ken Kent, July 16, 2022, a ?build you own?. Chose to pay the... delivery driver, but we?re not told it would be cash. Had to call and pay over the phone with a tip for the driver (Abdul), hopethey do not forget to give it to him. The toppings were okay. The crust was HORRIBLE, not fully cooked, no golden or brown coloron the edges or bottom of the pizza. The crust was RAW! When we tried to get a piece, the topping lifted up but the crust wasstuck (glued) to the cardboard. Attaching a few pictures. Disappointing to say the least Read more

Literally the worst pizza I have ever had . I want my money back to be honest . It had NO FLAVOR whatsoever . It tasted like I... was eating stale bread with tomato paste smeared on it . Absolutely disgusting ! I lived in Chicago for years and the quality ofthis is very very far off from Chicago locations for some reason. There is no flavor whatsoever . The crust was as hard as arock . I couldn?t cut through it . The sauce had no flavor and tasted like raw tomatoes , And There was a very minimal amount ofcheese . It was terrible and I gave my dog a part of the crust and he literally dropped it and ran away and has been sad eversince . Terrible . Never again . $25 down the toilet Read more

Being from Chicago I wanted to try the take and bake pizza. It was okay but nothing like a freshly prepared cheesy buttercrust... deep dish I'm used to. I did enjoy the friendly service. Read more

I accidentally ordered from the Carmel location a week ago and got my usual. It was horrible so I called and received a credit,... I was able to redeem it HERE at the 86th Street location and LET ME TELL YOU... The customer service was splendid! The manager,Ryan, went the extra distance to even do this for me and my pizza was ON POINT. Exactly as it should be, they maintainconsistency and the flavor is ALWAY there. Ryan as well as the other young man working there had amazing service. I willcontinue to support this location with that alone. Thank you Ryan! Read more

Just spent $27 on bread. This is the worst deep dish pizza I?ve ever had including what you can buy at the frozen section at any... grocery store. Look at the picture. This ?deep dish? is 95% bread with next to no sauce on top and almost no cheese at all. Youhad to search to find the cheese and meat on this pizza. It was just a thin layer on top of all the bread. It probably cost thecompany no more than $3 to make and they up charge it to $27 just for a medium. If you want a quick deep dish pizza your waybetter off going to Jets Pizza. Feel ripped off. Extremely disappointed. Save your money and go elsewhere. Read more

The newest Lou Manati in Indy. I placed my order 30 mins ahead for a curbside pick up. L Curb side pick up: Prompt, convenient... and ready earlier by 5 minutes. Pizza: Don?t be fooled by the size of personal pizza. Its a mouthful! The crust was crunchy, just about right (Unlike the soggy ones I ate earlier) Tomato, Jalapeño and Garlic had a rich freshness and was melt in themouth with the gooey cheese. All in all wow taste and experience! Will be going back! Read more

I've been eating Lou Malnati's pizza for 45 years. I've been ordering frozen Lou Malnatis online from Chicago for as long as... they've been offering them. Imagine my excitement when I heard they were opening some locations in Indianapolis. And imagine mydisappointment to learn that there appears to be no quality control at this site. I walked in and grabbed six frozen, pepperonipizzas at the 86th street site. I've opened 5, and eaten 4. No two have been the same, and not one if them has been as well madeas any one I've ever ordered from Chicago stores. They're thin. Or they're thick with inadequate cheese. Or the crust tastesdifferent. And talk about skimping on the meat. The two in the photo below came in the exact same package. The one on the leftwas the closest to the real thing as any of the six. The one on the right was all crust, and had little or no cheese. I packedit back up, and plan to return it. Two more were very thin, and might as well have come from Little Ceasar's. We ate them, butvery disappointing. It's about 30 bucks more to just order them from Chicago. I guess if I want Lou Malnati's pizza, I'll justhave to pay the extra. Bummed. Read more

Well, we decided to try Lou Malnati's newly opened outpost at 86th and Michigan Road area here in Indianapolis . The pizzas... were a medium cheese deep dish and a large pepperoni deep dish both with butter crusts. These were not deep dish pizzas. They Seemed to be traditional crust pizzas. Also, on the pepperoni pizza the toppings seemed to be on top. Everyone knows aChicago deep dish has toppings and cheese UNDER the sauce. Also, the order to ready timeframe was about 35 minutes . My guessis crusts are pre-made then run though their heat up/finishing device. My group of 5 are experts on pizza having been toDetroit, Chicago, New York City and Philadelphia. We also have spent time making all styles of pizza ourselves. I would havepreferred to give a 2.5 stars but alas one cannot split stars. As a marketing ploy extending access to an iconic pizza name inChicago is somewhat smart, however success may depend on significant product improvement locally. Read more
