I drove to this Panda Express on a Sunday night at 8:30. The staff has the chairs up on the table and one staff member in... particular was cleaning the floors in the front of the restaurant. I was unsure if the restaurant was open, so I got out of thecar and asked the staff member cleaning the floor if they were still open & she said no. I said ?but your sign says your openuntil 9?? And all she said was ?I?m sorry?. Another customer came up behind me to pick up an order he placed online and wasalmost turned away as well, until he simply walked past the person cleaning the floors. I was so close to spending my money nextdoor at Blaze Pizza until I saw him go in. I get that it?s kind of late on a Sunday for Indiana, but if the sign says you?reopen (and there?s still employees making food), don?t tell customers you?re closed. The food at Panda is always pretty good but the speed of service at this location over lunch hour is terrible. When I arrived,... there were 14 people ahead of me in line. This restaurant was recommended by several people in the area, including other guests in my hotel. When I got there the line was... out the door. I do not recommend mobile ordering at this location. I arrived a few minutes past my promised pick -up time. I was told the... order was not ready and would be made in a minute. They continued to help every customer in line and who joined the line. After20 minutes I joined the line asking for my mobile order, I was given attitude, and told to pick up at register. I explained Ihad been waiting and it was still not made. The sides had been sitting in boxes in front of this guy the whole time. He filledthe entrees and passed off to the first lady who told me it would be ready soon, she started giving me attitude and treated medifferently then the other customers. Where she asked them if they wanted sauces, I had to ask myself for the sweet and soursauce for my Rangoon's. They were overstaffed if anything, 1 guy on break, 1 lady went out to seating to visit with family whilewearing gloves, the manager was out hanging a banner and stopped to take another guy out to help him who wore his glovesoutside, still leaving someone cooking, 2 people filling orders and a lady on register. I only ever eat at this location based off necessity if everything else is closed and this was definitely the last time. The... past three times I have eaten here in a row I have found a black curly hair in my food. If this is any indication of thecleanliness measures this simply is not a safe restaurant to eat at. The staff was friendly and the store was clean. However, the food was just ok. The food was barely warm and I wasn't impressed... with the entre options. I will say that the portion size was great! Very generous! I didn't hate it, but I probably wouldn'tpick to go there over my favorite Chinese restaurant. I would go there again if someone really wanted to go, just not a place Iwould choose.
