This location is almost always busy when we order from here. The last time we ordered from here, I went right in. The other... times, there has been a line out the door. The workers do a good job of getting the line moving. My only issue is the lack ofbeing able to track my order online. I'm guessing it's because this is such a small town. Every time we order from Indy orGreenwood, I can see when it's done. Other than that, I will definitely be coming back. Read more

I try not to ever give negative reviews however when I recently visited Papa John's and ordered the chicken fettuccine in a bowl... through the drive-thru window it took 30 minutes to prepare the food and when it came out it was literally running watery wateryclear liquid pouring off the plate chicken was overcooked the pasta was tough and it was all swimming in a pool of white liquidwhite to clear liquid watery no flavor. I would absolutely return it for a exchange for different dish or my money back. Orbetter yet I would have loved to ask who ever made the dish to take a bite and let me know how they felt it tasted and appeared. however I did not have the time to return and the only input they're getting from me is going to be this negative review thisis the first bad dish I've got from Papa John's generally good pizzas are wonderful probably number two or number three inranked in my mind for Quality Pizza in Indianapolis Read more

I wish I could select no stars and review. The papa John's on 38th is the WORST. More often than not my order is always missing... items. Usually I just let it go, but tonight is my 2nd delivery order that is missing food. About $20 worth tonight. The staffworking at this location don't care at all. It takes 30 minutes holding just to speak with a manager and then another hour toget the missing items. Read more

Not enough veggie options. Way too much swine on the menu. A kosher pizza place would be ideal; like having a Magoo's California... style on the east side of town. The one out west is halal/kosher. When they get busy the place is left a mess. Saw whole pizzason the floor by the trash can and they atack orders on top of each other. The place is already small. Its not good to have avegan or vegetarian's food getting filled with what is in someone else order. The smells and essence. Read more

I?ve gotten orders from here several times messed up. My mistake for giving them another shot. Tonight?s mess up feels like... straight up theft, though. I?ve been on hold for 20 minutes, after finally not getting straight up hung up on. But yeah, missing a drink, AGAIN. No real way to post a complaint through the app, and when you call the store you?ll just be hung up onor placed on hold until you give up. Leaving them with the money I paid for my drink. If you do decide you still need papaJohn?s, the one on Washington street is worth the extra few minutes of a drive if you?re willing to do carry out. Side note, Ialways have to order well done from this location, because when you order a normal cook it?s always undercooked, which meansthey probably run the belt at a higher speed so they can put out more food. Placed an online order at 7:05pm Sunday evening, 9/4. Delivery time was quoted approx 29-40 minutes. Cool...after 30 minutes... went by and my order wasn't in 'baking' status, I assumed they were slammed. That's fine, it happens and I've been in thatsituation many times in my past life as a PJ manager. What matters is expectations. If you tell me 29-40 mins and it ends upbeing 110 minutes? No good. Disappointing that the MIC didn't take the steps to update the online delivery status. Had I knownthe *actual* wait time, I would've saved my $27 and gone elsewhere ($4.99 delivery fee and $6 tip, yowza). Papa John's used tohave a real time customer feedback program called Medallia, but it looks like they abandoned that, as well as the secret shopperprogram to ensure the stores were making products to spec. Can't find any links to provide feedback and I'm sure a phone call tothe store would result in an outsourced call center and a waste of time. My food arrived around 8:55, the driver was friendly, products were warm but not hot, extra sauces included, and everything was properly made. Papadia dough was proofed and nicelybaked, having a slightly crispy exterior and spongy interior. Cheese sticks were 15% dried up around the edge and lackingexterior cheese coverage, but that's typical. No complaints on the product delivered, but the service left much to be desired.Expectations matter. Read more
