Ordered chicken & looked like we got pigeon wings! The people were extremely rude & my Daughter was given really spicy chicken... instead of original. So her meal was ruined plus burned her mouth! Read more

The service was super slow and seemed very confused. I waited a solid five minutes for the first person to ask for my order.... There were two DoorDash drivers waiting ahead of me that the three employees up front were more focused on. The first employeetaking my order was so quiet I had to lean over the register to hear her. After ordering fries as my side she informed me theywere out of fries and then walked away. Another employee took over, also letting me know about the lack of fries. Finallystraightened out my order including the dollar upcharge for the Mac and cheese to replace their missing fries. Good way to makea profit by "running out" of a side so they can charge more for another one. The chicken was average with a decent fried skin.The mac and cheese was below average, seeming like the cheese was melted onto the mac as an after thought. The cole slaw wasaverage, no sweetness, a little tangy, decent crunch. All in all, I'm not sure I would go back. Read more

*SEMI-LONG but READ TO THE END* Out the gate, I must say that this is the BEST experience I?ve ever had at a Popeye?s... establishment. I know that there tends to be a bad rap about service (and usually it is warranted.) However today, theexperience was exceptional for several reasons : 1.) My wife and I were so impressed with the speed and friendliness of theirservice compared to what we have typically experienced. There were no long lines or extensive wait times. 2.) Theestablishment was clean and the food was hot and fresh. 3.) We initially stopped here for lunch around noon. We were headed toNashville from Chicago. When I was throwing away trash I opened the door and my wallet fell out., unbeknownst to me. 4.) We haddriven three hours southbound on I65 by the time I realized it was lost. I called and learned, to my relief, that they?d foundit and had it secured in a safe. 5.) I drove three hours BACK, arrived around 7:30 pm, and sure enough it was still there. Daymon, one of the managers, went to the safe, confirmed my identity, and gave me that which we had traveled so long toreclaim. After a long drive we were hungry again, so we got a second round for dinner. All of the staff was great. THANK YOUfor your help in securing my wallet and giving my family and I a great experience. Last couple months it's NOTHING but 'pull ahead our timer is running' in drive - thru. Tons of cars wait approximately 20... minutes after enduring a nasty manager at the window (same one every try we gave. Then you can't get in as they lock the doors. Once you pay them you're hosed and have to wait. Considering it was a sandwich I figured they'd have it quickly but NO. Very good food, people say the biscuits are dry but I like the seasoning they put on them. Chicken was fresh and tasted great,... and the mashed potatoes with Cajun gravy was great as well. Speedy service and friendly staff, overall a wonderful experience. Read more

The folks were great. I mainly rated it this way because they no longer have the Cajun rice / dirty rice. That was the one thing... that set them apart from other chains. It's certainly not the seasoning for the chicken. Extreme disappointment. Probably won'tbe back until they add something to the menu to justify it. Read more

Last time chicken sandwich was under cooked. It was nasty. Their iced tea is nasty, order something else. This time the... pickles weren't quite as crisp and fresh. Buns did not seem to have been toasted as before. I hope they arent going down hill. Have been one of my favorite when I am in Greenwood. Read more

I had the worst experience today!!! My boyfriend gave the cashier $15 so I reached in my purse and handed him a $10 bill to... complete our total, it was around $19 and a couple cents. So we handed the cashier $25 in total, while he gets our change i wentto go fill up my drink, I turn around and ask him for the change he said she only gave 40 cents. I start thinking to myself thatI should have more than 40 cents I still needed $5 more!! So I go to the cashier and ask her for my change she says she put the$25 there ?accidentally? so I think we?ll maybe i did give her $5 and I start to realize that I did hand her $10 because whywould she put my total as $25 if she says I only gave her $5!!! keep in mind why would a customer lie about giving a cashier $10more to complete there order, even my boyfriend saw it because he?s the one who gave it to her. The manager never even botheredto ask me about the situation, she only talk to her coworker, she counted her drawer and said ?yea we don?t owe you anything?probably because it?s in your coworkers pocket!! That manager needs to pay more attention to the clues on the receipt! Read more
