This is our 2nd time going to Ruth Chris. The 1st time we went to the one at Keystone at the crossing. The service was great.... But the Lobster Voodoo wasn't fully cooked. Caesar salad barely any dressing. The food was very average, no flavor, no seasoningnothing. My boyfriend can make a way better steak (tomahawk) than what I had! He's chef! We probably would have better off goingto Sullivan's. Not worth at all what they charge! Maybe it was the downtown location. Won't be back. Read more
The service was absolutely wonderful! I didn't get pics of the appetizers but we had the fried lobster and shrimp cocktail which... were both equally amazing! The steaks were a tad tough and not to the temps requested (meduim was medium well, medium rare wasmedium well, etc) but the flavor was good! The atmosphere and service are impeccable. The cowboy ribeye I ordered had a surprising amount of fat and gristle. Not to be... that guy.. but I can get a steak at Kroger for 8 bucks and throw it on the grill for something comparable to what should havebeen one of the best steaks you can get in Indianapolis. We had a wonderful 5th anniversary at Ruth’s Chris on a busy Valentines Day weekend Friday! The staff was ready! They were... extremely professional, kind, and made our night special! The food was phenomenal! Worth every penny. Colton was a fantasticserver and so warm! He went above and beyond for us to make us comfortable, happy and welcome. Overall a great fine dining experience right in the heart of downtown. You come here for the steak and never leave disappointed.... I typical get the fixed menu option, that includes an entree, side and soup or salad for a slightly discounted price. Still,expect to spend at least $50 per person here minimum. Service was friendly and personable and went at just the right speed foran upscale restaurant. I recommend parking in the circle city mall parking garage which is right underneath the restaurant andonly cost $3. Read more
Lunch review… Came over for the fixed lunch and it was incredible as you might expect. I had the steak house salad, steak... frites (subbed chips for the fries) and the absolutely fantastic carrot cupcake. Great place to stop for lunch and veryreasonable prices for the quality of the food. Recommended! Read more
Absolutely amazing as always! Finally had the opportunity to try the A5 Japanese Wagyu appetizer and it was astonishing. I got... the cowboy ribeye and it was cooked to Perfection with the absolute best flavor imaginable! And a little secret is get the sweetpotatoes but save them for dessert and get a scoop of vanilla ice cream to go with them. I call these the sleeper item on themenu they are literally like candy and should be eaten as a dessert! As far as staff they're always amazing and I believe thebest one there is Martin, super nice, knowledgeable and just an absolute pleasure.
