Sahara?s food is notably flavorful and well-rounded in a perfect way. This visit we went basic and got their babaghanoush,... chicken shawarma and gyro which was all delicious, but what topped it all off was the genuinely hospitable nature of the owner.My sister and I were the only two during a less busy time of the day, and he treated us to basbouseh, fragrant rose water blacktea, and such wholesome conversation. The whole meal was a heart warming experience, and is definitely a 7/5 stars if I couldonly rate it so high. Read more
I had the Gyros Plate which included hot pita bread, Hummus, Gyros meat, tzatziki sauce, rice, and salad. A very complete meal,... and everything was fixed perfectly. No ice, brewed tea, or fountain drinks, but they do have a variety of bottleddrinks. Bottom line: delicious food and a nice ambiance. Highly recommended. Read more
The BEST gyro in the city! Went back less than a week after my first time because I was craving it so much. Second time we went,... we did a pick up order and I kid you not, when I went in to get my food and pay, the owner (I believe it's run by a father andson) threw in free sodas AND free baklava and when I tell you it was the best baklava I've ever had, I am not playing around.PERFECTLY flaky phyllo layers and the pistachio crunch was a textural sensation. I'm not one to talk with my mouth full, but Icouldn't help saying "oh my GOD" after every single bite. Their hummus is also exceptional. And the FRIES - simple butdelicious. These guys have nailed absolutely every item on the menu. Will definitely be making this place a regular addition tomy dine-out dinner nights. Read more

This was a great experience from the moment we walked in the door. There was a very friendly pop pop and son team who greeted us... and promptly took our order. The ambiance and light background music paired well with the wonderful aroma that filled therestaurant as our dinner was prepared. We ordered gyros plates and falafel. The food arrived fast, was freshly cooked, andabsolutely delicious! The falafel was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft and warm inside. The presentation of the gyrosplate was beautiful. Five out of five stars and I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a clean, lowkey restaurantwith good quality food. Read more
PLEASE ignore the three 1-2 star reviews! This place is an absolute gem. My husband and I have been coming here for years and... have always been greeted with a warm and friendly "hello". The food is amazing, always hot and fresh. The best tasting gyroplate I've had in Indy by far! Their shawarma is delicious as well. You really can't go wrong with any of their menu items. Our family of four stopped in for a quick bite. As always, the owner was lovely and welcoming. Our meals were delicious.
