Just ordered from this place for the first time and they have royally screwed my order up. Ordered 3 sandwiches and only... received 2. Of the 2 sandwiches i received, they have added every extra condiment possible, that i did not order on my sandwichand now cannot eat. I?m pregnant and now have wasted not only money on this garbage restaurant but also time that could havebeen spend getting food from a restaurant that pays attention to orders. Also?..$3 for a 2 oz container of potato salad?..?????Also let me note that their storefront has moved and isnt updates through uber eats or Grubhub?. More wasted time. Save yourmoney folks! Phenomenal. Everything about this place is ideal; the food, the employees, the music, the hospitality. I?m also a firm believer... in also supporting black businesses, so I try to go once a week/biweekly just so that I can do so. If you need a new place toeat, watch the game, or just have a good time chatting to the employees, Star?s is the place. Read more
I stopped into this little grill by chance while in town for a work training. I ordered the Philly Steak and it was the best... one I have had in years. I was pretty sure it was going to be good when she asked if I wanted it grilled in butter or oliveoil. Of course, I chose butter. The sandwich was delicious and the service fantastic! Read more
This sandwich shop isn't going to make it. The food is great however the service is a nightmare! I went here for lunch the other... day with a group of co-workers. There were eight of us in total. When we arrived there were two gentleman in the place both ofwhom had already ordered. I was the third one to order in our group of eight. I was asked three additional times what I hadordered after my initial order. I was the last one of the group to get my food and waited an hour for my sandwich. Waiting anhour for a sandwich is completely unacceptable. Several orders within my group were messed up and all of us were stuck spendingour entire lunch hour waiting on them to make our sandwiches. I do not recommend this place unless you have a lot of time tokill and don't mind if your order is screwed up. This place has a lot of potential. It has a great location and great food butif they don't do something about the service they might as well close their doors now. Read more

Updated! Seems there was some confusion on my part through the ordering process and the owner has refunded me after a failed... pick-up order. Be warned that although the Square app gives pick-up as an option, it really is delivery only! I should?ve beenmore discerning reading the description but it can be a bit confusing if you?re rushing. If it?s possible for them to removethat option from their site I think it could help to avoid future confusion such as mine. Also would be very helpful if thephone number listed worked! But thank you to the owner for clearing things up in the end and refunding things quickly after Iposted a review. I have ordered from this location previously for delivery and the Cheesesteak and fries were really delicious!It?s unfortunate that my more recent attempt to purchase from here was so frustrating, but I plan to order (delivery) again inthe future, and I hope they can work out some of the ordering kinks to avoid future mixups such as my own.
