I placed a mobile order at the Kirkwood MO location and I called to let them know I was there for my curbside order and nobody... answered I called 3x so I decided I would go inside but the doors were locked and there was an employee standing outside tryingto get in and he said that he had called the store manager multiple times and nobody would answer the drive thru was backed upand someone had come to the window honking their horn and nobody would come to the window. I would like to add that there weremultiple cars in the parking lot (I?m assuming employees cars)So I never received my order I spent and wasted my money. I wasalso on my lunch break and didn?t have time to mess around with that hot mess. Don?t come to this store unless you are lookingfor a disappointment. I wish there was a ZERO star rating and after reading the reviews from the corporate google page I?m notexpecting to hear back from anyone. Not only that but the corporate # is out of service AND I have emailed 2x 6/7 hoursago...while corporate office is still open and haven?t heard a word. You really should read the reviews on that locations googlepage they are awful this was my first time at that location and will not be back. That store needs to be closed down based oneveryone else?s reviews. I WAS SCAMMED. I?m a broke college student and wanted to treat myself to lunch and here I am missing myFOOD I NEVER RECEIVED and MY MONEY I MORE THAN LIKELY WILL NOT BE GETTING BACK ???? We went to the steak n shake on ccnw in Tallahassee FL. I am very disappointed with the lack of service. I don't like having to... use the kiosk to order and pay ahead of getting the food. The way that they used to do it was better, the waiter came to thetable took your order you ate your food they would always ask you if everything was ok. We probably won't go back there anymore. This review is for corporate. I worked for Steak and Shake back in the early 2000s. Over the years of changes from getting rid... of platters to having fries with all meals automatically the change that has currently happened within the last 6 months reallybreaks my heart. I have memories of having chicken fingers with my family when I was younger and now you're establishment nolonger sells chicken fingers in my adult years I have moved to Virginia where there is no Steak and Shake around and I come hometo the Midwest to attend your establishment but now since there are no chicken fingers I will have to resort to your competitor.For someone who loved your chicken fingers more than anything and then your honey mustard sauce more than anything it saddens meto having to go somewhere else to get my fix on chicken fingers when I as a consumer willing to pray the price for what I wouldlike. Went to Steak n Shake in Avon , Indiana today less than a hour ago. Ordered three doubles and onion rings and a 5 way. Doubles... were so nasty you couldn't even eat them. 5 way was put into a styrofoam burger container instead of a sealed container and itleaked grease everywhere soaking the rest of the food and through the bottom of the bag getting grease on my moms clothes. Andthe onion rings, well we didn't even get those.Steak n Shake food is just disgusting anymore and the service is terrible theywould be better off to stop the bleeding and shut all of their stores down forever ! Ordered online from the app, showed up to the restaurant and noticed a sign stating: "Closed Today". So now you have my money... and my food. No ability to get a refund. Called the corporate number, phone prompt stated: "To make a complaint, please press1." I press 1 and it rings a few times and states: "Your call cannot be completed as dialed."
