Texas Roadhouse always rocks! But I have to say that the sidekick of ribs beat the hell out of my steak. Steak was dry... ribs were finger licking perfect. It was still a very good meal I just dipped my steak into my beer. Problem solved. Read more
Today is Father's Day and I used the waitlist option when we left the house 12:30pm. The waitlist time was predicted at 30-45... minutes so we texted when we got to the place and waited another 5 minutes to be called in. I was surprised how easy the processwas. We were seated and given their famous rolls and Cinnamon butter. The server was nice and friendly. I felt like I needed adrink of water before it actually came but then our adult beverages came after that. The food was good as always. We got someboxes to go and I had to have the check corrected (we were charged for the kids drinks that should have been included). Overalla very nice trip with good service and good food. I wish it was a place we could afford more often than 2-3 a year. They need toAmp their VIP club with some more perks than just a free app on your birthday! Read more
The wife and I stopped in for some steak and potatoes. Other than the mashed potatoes being a bit cold the overall meal was... excellent. Good job. Our server Katie was great. Great dining experience. Our server " Savanah " was all smiles as she delivered first our drinks then our food which was cooked... perfectly and the portion size was more than could be consumed in one sitting. Tonight I finally used my "Veterans" coupon fromlast Nov. Once again this place does not disappoint! Update! My friend and I returned to this eatery and were immediatelyreminded if why we choose to come here. The food is awesome and the service is superb! Our waiter " Mitch" was on point! If you want terrible food and slow service then drop buy Texas roadhouse on shadeland..every single time I have visited this... place the food is wrong as you can see we opened our boxes didn't get French fries nuggets that look like someone had beeneating some of them the meat was old ..and on top of that took 4 calls no answer....and the app is useless...the dinner rollsare the only thing worth getting...even dinning in it take 3 tries to get food correct...or fresh lots of visitors come and goonly if they knew they serve horrible food and don't care about it either...JUST TREAT YOURSELF TO SOMETHING BETTER THAN TEXASROADHOUSE TRASH FOOD. Picture I took once I got home with the half of the steak that was more rare. Got here about 20 minutes after they opened at 4pm... on Thursday. They already had about 10 tables our wait was 5-15 minutes. We ended up waiting about 10 minutes. Our service fromour waitress was good. It was the steaks we ordered that was supposed to be medium rare. One steak was pretty close to it butthe other steak was more rare. So tip for steak lovers: You are better off cooking it yourself than at a restaurant. Mostrestaurants hardly ever get medium rare right. We just go out every now and again thinking it will change but never really does.Otherwise, atmosphere was relaxing and the house salad, Ceasars salad, chili and the mashes potatoes was good. Just expectedsince we got there pretty much right when they opened that our steaks did not get rushed to be cooked since they were not thatbusy yet at all, I have seen this place way busier and could have kinda expected it more during their rush than at the beginningof their shift.
