I stopped by here while visiting Indianapolis on a business trip. My wife and I had the Southwest Burger. It was delicious! We... also had the onion rings with the Boom Sauce. That sauce was nice and had a great amount of "bite" to it. It was also very goodon the fries that came with the burgers. The service was great - even the chef came out to check on how we liked the food. Ihighly recommend stopping by. Read more

I was so looking forward to the dining experience but was quickly disappointed. After standing and waiting for a good 10... minutes, a patron approached and stated we had to seat ourselves. The was one gentleman doing ALL the work. He did apologize, stating he was the only one working that day. The restaurant was smaller than I expected but nice and clean. The menu read to bevery appetizing. I was under a time constraint and had to leave after some time and did not get a chance to order, as there werefour others who informed us they had been waiting for a good length of time for service. I will definitely return and try theitems on the menu I was interested in. Read more

I am not sure what machine is being used to cook the food, but it is definitely turned up way too high. I ordered wings and... veggies and everything had a strong burnt taste to it. To the point where it over powered any other flavor that was supposed tobe there. I got this from Door Dash and they do less then give a refund, but had it been directly ordered, I would certainlyhave to ask for my money back. The entire meal is not inedible. Read more

Stopped here for lunch after passing it to a business meeting. I talked everyone into eating here. I had the shrimp skewers... and it was delicious. The rice was amazing! I text my husband that we have to come back for a date night. The ambiance iswonderful and the music is the bomb. Very nice place for lunch, dinner and cocktails. Loooove it! Read more

5 stars for lunch, yes. Based on over and above, totally awesome service. Great attitude, great environment. A+++. As far... as the food, I was ordered the chicken tender basket. Asian sauce toss was excellent, hot to sweet, just perfect. I think itwas home made Blue Cheese, it was really good. The fries were a bonus, thick cut - super crispy n the outside and gooey on theinside….. and I do not even like thick cut fries. A nice touch was the seasoning on the fries. Great experience today, loved it! Read more

We ended up here because the Thai place next door, which was our destination, had a sign on the door that the dining room was... closing at 8:20, and it was 8:05. The best thing I can say about The Block is that it was open. The server was also pleasantand working very hard, as they are obviously short staffed. We might have had a better experience had we sat inside. The musicon the patio was pretty loud, and when the ads came on, combined with the loud motorcycles rumbling by frequently on the street,it was not enjoyable. Even indoor seating wouldn't have helped the food, however, which was more cafeteria quality than bistro. The tomatoes on the flatbread were cold. The entree salad was a very basic iceberg lettuce salad with overly hard boiled eggsand the optional shrimp with the salad were cornmeal coated and fried, which was bizarre. The roasted potatoes were the mostsuccessful part of the meal, and they were too salty. On the other hand, it was inexpensive. I would have been happy to paymore for a spring greens or spinach salad. * edited to add photo of salad - I see now it was romaine lettuce - my error. Read more
