The food and the service were both excellent, and the prices were reasonable. The menu has lots of options to choose from, so my... friend and I were both able to find food we really liked, even though we have very different tastes. We LOVE this place! We just moved to Indianola and have been here four times in a three week period! We just can't stay away!... The egg drop soup recipe is AMAZING and I love the addition of local sweet corn to it. Anyone should come here for lunch, plentyof quality food for reasonable prices. Read more

We usually like the food here, but tonight we ordered our food to go. When paying, I thought the prices seemed high. It turns... out they have raised their prices and have not updated their online menu to reflect the increase. We ordered one appetizer andone entree that we were going to share. I got there early so that I could get the food as soon as it came out. The price wasalmost $29.00. When I got the food back home, I discovered that they had not included the fried rice that we asked for. I had todrive back and get the fried rice while the rest of my food, much of which was fried, was getting cold and soggy. I asked themanager what he would offer as compensation for their mistake. He offered to give us the fried rice!! What?!?! He offered togive us the thing we already paid for! Unacceptable!! If he would have offered a free appetizer the next visit, we would goback. As it stands, we?re crossing Deng?s Garden off the list. There were zero customers in the dining room at 7:20 p.m. and Itold him they just lost another customer.
