Was so excited to see this restaurant. Ordered dinner for 52.00. Sadly it was nothing like the Indian food I have eaten all my... life. I had the Tandoori mixed grill - chicken was old, no flavor, and bland, other meats were tough. Samosas were good.Definitely not worth the money. Read more

Very unhappy with this place will never be eating here again. I had lunch at the infio location. Prior to going into the... restaurant I checked the menu options online, which clearly says Indio on the website. I was intrigued with the lunch specialthey promote. I ordered the lunch special knowing it was $11.99 per the website. When I received the bill It came out to $45.11not including tip! Portions were small and the flavor was not there, have definitely had better. When asking the owner he saidthat the prices were for the palm desert location even tho I showed him the website said indio. He said it had to be fixed.NEVER AGAIN!! Read more

We loved this Indian restaurant (along with the Palm Desert location which is also very good). I've had the Mushroom Korma and... the Palak Paneer. Their sauces are rich and creamy, and they don't chince on the paneer like some places. The Naan and Raita arequite good as well, and the Pakoras were yummy. The Palm Desert location has a little more atmosphere than this Indio one.Although there was some Bollywood style music, other than that there was a lack of South Asian decor. It doesn't make the foodany less delicious, however. The Indio location was quicker in service. I should say, both times we went for dinner, and havenot sampled the lunch buffet. Been saying this for years but nobody ever seems to listen. Very simple concept. Nothing ruins a meal I'm paying for than bad... service. Not the biggest deal but I asked for ranch and he totally forgot to give it to me. When I asked, he tried to blame thecook. If he would have checked on me after leaving me the food like any regular server usually does, I could have been satisfiedwith him bringing it late but he finally waltzes out with cell phone in hand to go to the bathroom when I'm practicallyfinished. I reminders him and he asks if I still want it. I told him I'm almost done. He offers a free drink. Why would I want adrink when I already have one? This might sound harsh but the reason this poor service bothers me so much is because of thissimple concept I mentioned at the beginning which is pre tipping. Why in the world these places do this is crazy to me. I'vegotten to the point that if I see them ask for a tip as I'm ordering, I don't want to eat there anymore. Period. Not once have Iever been to a place in my entire life to date where I was asked to tip up front and I was satisfied with the service that Ipaid up front for on the assumption that it would be good. This kid couldn't careless and first tried to blame the cook FOR HISJOB and then he was willing to sacrifice product with an offer I'm pretty sure his boss doesn't give him the ability togive. I'm convinced now that any place that asks you to pre tip is going to have garbage customer service. Again, not a bigdeal that he forgot the ranch. The burgers are delicious, sweet potatoes fries are delicious too. This was my fourth time, each time I try something different,... and every time I am happy. I like In-and-Out, but BurgerIM is way better. It tastes like home made. The place is very clean,nice atmosphere, friendly staff. I definitely will go there again! Read more
