Just a 2 star sadly this time. I’ve stayed here over 10 times because it’s a reasonable drive, great food, and service, but... it’s been slipping the last couple times while the price is increasing. So much for relaxing in the morning when last call is0930 for breakfast. It used to be later. Good room, clean spot, but the last couple times and especially this time, the staffseem very unhappy. The older woman in the dining room with short, black hair is downright miserable and should retire fromworking in hospitality. This is not her calling. This isn’t the first time she’s been rude and muttering comments that areuncalled for. Her sour mood seems continuous. We asked for water at breakfast and that was a huge issue. Looking at a menu wasan issue. Getting food was an issue. Why would I spend money to eat here when a server/supervisor acts like everyone is aninconvenience to her? Check in and check out really wasn’t much different. I don’t expect a parade, but again, if you wantto be miserable, don’t work in hospitality. You need to do better Elmhurst. Read more
A 5 star experience! The location is beautiful, the food is really good quality but the service was phenomenal and is what blew... it out of the park for me. We asked for medium prime rib and it was a little more well done then medium. The server took it backno questions asked and promptly brought a new plate. It is pricey but very professional. You really do get what you pay for. Read more
Mom wanted to go here for her birthday dinner, food lacked seasoning, service was good but we had to move areas because of large... group being loud. Previous server made a comment about us moving which was not appreciated. Second server was great. For a finedining establishment, I could have gone to the keg for a better prime rib. Read more
Absolutely stunning! I stayed at the Elm Hurst Inn and Spa for a work function and it was so enjoyable. The restaurant is... unbelievably delicious, I highly recommend trying it! The rooms are lovely and comfortable. The grounds are serene andbeautiful. I will be back. Read more
Brunch Review: They used to have the best Sunday Brunch ever. Now it barely passes for a good truck stop breakfast. They used... to have a crepe station, and a waffle station. The waffles you have to make yourself and it’s incredibly dirty, messy &unappetizing. They used to have smoked salmon and mussels. Now all they have is warm shrimp. They used to have a great spreadof cheeses and crackers (I specifically liked the Brie. When I went there was one piece of marble cheddar left that lookedextremely unappealing. They also used to have pastries but had only croissants when we went, where did all the food go? Ourserver was also extremely rude and never brought us the mimosas we asked for. We also weren’t given coffee top ups because ourserver was never around. She stuck up her nose to us as if we weren’t worthy of eating there meanwhile it felt like we werepicking through leftovers and trash for breakfast. $100- complete waste of money. Would recommend going to the Delta Armouriesfor brunch instead- they have so many stations, varieties and way better service for the same price. Read more
All the staff at Elm Hurst were extremely helpful and understanding! We had to postpone our wedding twice and they made it so... easy to change our dates and make sure that everything stayed the same. Leading up to the day Lesley was in constant contactwith me and always able to answer any questions I had. The day of went so perfectly I couldn't have asked for anything better!The staff at Elm Hurst really took all the stress off and allowed me to enjoy the day! Had a recent overnight stay - this is a lovely inn conveniently located just off the 401. Room was great, recently updated and... a good size. Dinner was really good - we went with the Chef tasting menu. Staff were very helpful and seemed very happy tohave guests return! Breakfast buffet was good - could improve on the croissants though. For those EV owners - lots of EVchargers as well. Didn't get to the spa - as they were fully booked - which I take as great news. Read more
We had reservations for dinner and were seated in the Prince Charles room upstairs. Our waitress Jaclyn was super friendly and... very attentive!!! Fine dining at its best with generous portions and beautiful presentation. Kudos to Chef Tan and his team fortantalizing the tastebuds and creating all of our meals to perfection!
