Theee best friend chicken wings, mac and cheese, yams and corn bread. Now I have had their food before and I'm highly impressed.... Crispy chicken, nicely seasoned, hint of sweetness. It's was so good. Also I tried the gingerade and mint lemonade which wasnice and sweet but not too sweet. The staff were really nice and helpful with ordering. Inside nice and roomy. Nice ambianceand bathroom was clean. Love the paintings and pro black imagery. Omg this is the worst food ever! If I could give zero stars I definitely would? We had the meal sent to us via grub hub. They... stated they didn?t have what was needed to make chicken and waffles, the greens was sweet and salty, the candy yams tasted likejust yams, the Mac n cheese was dry dry it was seasoned macaroni with cheese, the cornbread was so dry and tasted old, thechicken taste like it was tossed in Cajun seasoning and sugar, the banana pudding tasted like old custard with no banana?s init. My mom sister and I immediately tried to dr everything up and fix it because we couldn?t eat anything and my mom spent169.56 on this meal and we had to get out our pots and fix a meal we paid 169.56 for! Like she literally had me chop up onionsand add seasoning to the greens and added a smoke turkey neck and we still couldn?t get the meal down and That?s ridiculous! Wewill never eat here again. Horrifyingly gross! The Mac and cheese taste gummy and taste like spoiled dairy! The yams were horrible. The beans were black... and mushy and smothered the spoon full of rice! The chicken was basic and barely edible! I?m thank god for the sweet and sourtype sauce, that?s what made the few pieces I ate tolerable. This place is nothing like the downtown location. I got 30 piecechicken and 6 sides for $79! What a freaking waste! Ugh. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere! The photos look way better thanit tastes. Read more
Loved this place! It's been opened for about a year and I'm just now discovering it. The games on each table were so cool and... the decor was really unique. Had fun playing dominoes while waiting for food, but quickly pushed those bones aside when the grubarrived. Ordered a breakfast bowl and it was delicious! Also tried the chicken wings and fries and those were great too. We gotsurprised with some complimentary biscuits which were absolutely amazing! Lots of fancy flavorful beverages that were alsogreat. Great local spot in Inglewood. First off the Mac and cheese is definitely one of the best you will have in LA. The other side... items are also delicious, especially the French fries. They also make their own homemade drinks as well. You can also playdominos or cards while you wait. I would highly recommend this place. Read more
