Love Phillips! I get it every time I?m in LA and it?s consistently great????????My dad has been getting it for our family for... years. I love the rib tips with the sauce on the side, the links and chicken are yummy, and my mom loves the pork ribs. The barbecue is excellent! I hv been a customer at this location on Centinela well over 18 yrs. The BBQ do not taste good. I had the chicken and ribs and it was distasteful. It's a bunch of sauce on meat. The meat was bland... even with the BBQ sauce. Also, the chicken (ostrich wings) was undercooked with rubbery skin. It was my first and last time atthis spot. I only tried this place because I was at Harriet's Cheesecake next door. ??????????? My favorite bbq spot,both locations are good. The ribs are tender, the meat cooked well. And you are given plenty of meat,not a... bunch of fat. Very tasty bbq. I recommend the mixed sauce tray,it's spicy plus mild sauce mixed. The tray hasribs,chicken,sliced hot links,rib tips,brisket and comes with 2 sides and a loaf a white bread. The potato salad is prettygood,they add mustard to it. I called in my order, showed up,and my food was neatly packed and ready when I paid for it. Thelocation on Centinela had more parking available, than the Crenshaw one. It is a to go place, not a dine in place. Read more
