I went with a friend today for lunch and right at the beginning we already didn’t have a good experience. We were standing... there waiting for a table for at least 20 minutes before one of the waitresses acknowledged us and told it was going to be a fewminutes. She didn’t even look at us when she said that though. It also took them a very long time to clear tables for newcustomers. The wait for the food was acceptable and the quality of the food was really good. Unfortunately, even at the end ofour dining, we experienced another disappointment. We asked for the bill and told our waitress (Danielle) that we needed themachine to pay. She acknowledged but never came back with it, went to chat with other customers. Stopped in today for a late lunch. We were stopped getting fuel and thought why not try it. So glad we did. Food was delicious,... had the Buffalo chicken sandwich. It was a huge portion sandwich. Stopped in for a late lunch. 4 star because Restaurant is very nice, clean & tidy. Staff helpful & friendly. Food rating would... be 3 star. We were disappointed to find the food was “bland”. Hub had a banquet burger & I had fish tacos. Both meals seemedto be missing something. The tacos didn’t have cabbage or guacamole under the fish, just a bit of shredded lettuce. I liked to dine in at this place a lot. Food and quality were always good and fresh. However, they have such rude staff. I had... two bad incidents and therefore stopped visiting them. I was never charged extra for the meat substitutes but one of the staff(the shift changed for lunch hours) asked me to pay half price of the dish for a meat substitute. I showed her the last severalvisit receipts as she didn't believe me. I complain to the owner and he resolved it. Next time as soon as I entered and wantedto place an order she bluntly told me you've to pay for the substitute otherwise you'll not be served. I use to like theirpasta and grilled salmon. Read more
We tried the Red Onion on a recommendation and I was pretty impressed. #1 REAL POTATO HOMEFRIES!!! Not those frozen reject... French fry bits most places try to pass off as homefries. Pure misrepresentation lol. #2 the portions were huge and the dishesvery well seasoned. #3 real cheese in the omelets. #4 the chef made a rabbit pancake for my grand daughter. Sweet touch. #5lovely and friendly waitress who was very attentive and took great care of us. Some people complained it's dirty and it's in agas station...gasp. Don't pay any attention to this. My wife and I stopped in for lunch, we both had the banquet burger with fries. The burger was great with a good amount of fries.... The burgers are on special on Sundays, we thought we would get this small plain hamburger, but we had a choice of 3 or 4 on themenu and it was a fair size meal. The staff was great, very nice when we sat down and stopped by several times to see if wewanted our coffee topped up. We would go there again. Read more
