I LOVE this Devine little place. Excellent coffee, delectable cinnamon rolls and other fantastic treats. Plus the staff if so... great. I look forward to visiting each fall. Plus there are books and homemade crafts from the area for sale. Quaint littlespots to sit outside where you will be served. I just can?t get enough of it!!! Read more

Such a cute little cafe and craft spot in the Ingonish area so close to the national park along the Cabot trail. We got their... drip coffee, cheddar scone and another egg bacon muffin kinda thing. We liked the scone a lot. But the real attraction is howcute the coffee shop is. The staff is really friendly too. They have petting animals across but we didn't spend time there. Wegot our food and coffee and we were off to hiking after fueling up. They have a large parking lot too which is great but you dosee quite a few cars first thing in the morning. Read more

Simple and perfect! I couldn?t believe how every bite of my sandwich was better than the last. This is not a quick pit stop... though. Be prepared to take a break from driving, look around the shop filled with locally made treasures, sit outside under theapple trees, and enjoy the delightful atmosphere. The staff was exceedingly kind and helpful as well! Read more

We loved it here! Saving grace after a 50 mile bike ride over North Mountain. Veggie sandwich was loaded with hummus which is... both unusual and appreciated. The coffee was delicious, the staff was super friendly and the owners mom helped us find a placeto stay! You should definitely stop in, one of our favorite places on the Cabot Trail. Read more

One of the best places to stop in Cape Breton. Not to be missed! Fantastic coffee and food, but also a beautiful,... well-curated gift shop full of artistic and one of a kind gifts. We tell our friends visiting to make time for a stop at thePeriwinkle and they are never disappointed! The rooms are also amazing if you get the chance to stay overnight. Read more

Really good coffee, nice homemade baked goods, and a very cute interior. We stopped for breakfast one day (got the crab... breakfast sandwich) and returned later that same day for more coffee, as it blew the other options along the Cabot Trail out ofthe water. The little artisan shop is well-curated and the staff were all friendly. Wish we weren?t just passing through - we?dbe regular customers! Read more

Vegan hummus sandwich is a must try, they also serve hot drinks with plant based milk. They owner and staff are well aware about... the vegan options. They usually serve vegan desserts as well the day we went they dint have but the owner checked behind thecounter and they had vegan banana bread. The bread was rich in taste and filled with dry fruits. Worth every single penny!! Read more

We read about this place and it was highly recommended to us, so we were excited to make it our first stop after driving through... the park. It definitely was charming, but we had high hopes for the food which were definitely not met. Pretty pricey but verymediocre sandwiches were a real disappointment. Read more
