Tucked inside the lower level of the Woods Inn, the Laughing Loon is a warm, cozy place for food and drink. There are six taps... and I enjoyed one of their IPAs. The soup de jour was a grilled corn chowder with tender chunks of chicken which was excellent.The pulled pork sandwich was nicely spicy and served on a crisp artisan roll. Went to the local establishment at The Woods Inn. There was a wedding party but the bartender took care of us while we waited... for our food. Beautiful scenery on 4th lake. Read more

Arrived at 8:20 pm for dinner service. Food arrived at around 8:50 except for my daughter’s pizza. Asked around 9 about pizza... and ordered more drinks. 9:15 everyone is done eating and asked where the pizza was again. The bartender was very inattentiveand kept saying sorry while being very argumentative but no real answers. It was after 9:30 before the pizza arrived overdone.The best part was when the bartender decided to talk about us literally behind us with the owners. Very unprofessional and RUDE. Read more
