We wanted a more relaxed place while staying at the pearl, and a few people suggested shades. It was great, Austin took care of... us and was great. The queso was delicious, and drinks were great. Burger was a little over cooked, but overall a great time.Highly suggest this place if you want a chill environment to just hang out, drink, and eat some bar style food. Read more
Stumbled upon Shades and it quickly became a new favorite! Super Dave was the absolute best server we could have asked for.... Highly recommend the calamari, the summer salad with blackened shrimp and the key lime pie! Read more
Shades had a delightful menu with some unique offerings located right on the 30A corridor. Many of their offerings contain... in-house made sauces and ingredients, that really give their menu items some extra flavour. Their prices are as to be expectedbased on their location and a 20% gratuity is built into all tickets in order to properly tip the servers. Read more
We went for late night food and drinks. The hostess had an awful attitude and was quite rude. We almost left after our... interaction with her. Our server, Rachel, was great! Friendly, quick, and attentive, without hovering. The Red, white, and mulewas a fun twist on an Irish mule, with blueberries! The Bikini bottom was very tart without any pineapple flavor. The food cameout fast and was still piping hot. The grilled chicken sandwich was cooked perfectly, very juicy. The fries were crispy and justwhat you want for late night eats. The wings were your standard wings, nothing special, and definitely not worth the $20 pricetag. Overall, we are glad to have stayed despite the host and would go back again. Read more
Shades is a good near beach ???? restaurant. We visited for our first time this week. The service was great. The restaurant is... large, open, well lit, with outdoor seating also. There’s a large menu with good choices. We ordered the tuna dip. Delicious!!They make their own recipe. We enjoyed salad with their house made dressing. Key lime pie for dessert. Amazing!
