Thank goodness we found this place after our wonderful one hour tour of the buggy rides at Aaron and Jessica's just down the... road from this restaurant. This restaurant is adjacent to the hotel next to it and offers great comfort food and great service.We had the wonderful pot roast over pashed potatoes with gravy , spicy wings and hamburger. Everything was fabulous! We wouldhighly reccomend this place... great food, very clean bathrooms and great friendly service after a great day touring Amishcountry. Came in early for breakfast. Beautiful atmosphere, awesome food made with care and VERY attentive service. Great coffee ??
Nice restaurant. Clean and neat. Bathrooms were clean. Just passing through and stopped for a bite. Other reviewers posted... pics of the restaurant if you keep scrolling. I wasn't that hungry so I got an appetizer and they were still serving breakfastso my husband got breakfast. Pics below. The country breakfast was really good and the cheese and bacon fries appetizer wasreally good. Huge portion for an appetizer so make sure you have people to share with. This is a nice place. It was clean, the bathroom was clean, the staff was all friendly and helpful, the decore is nice - so... what keeps this nice place from getting more stars from me? The food was OK but bland. I had a cheese stake sandwich and itwas more bland than any cheese stake has a right to be. The other person in my party had crab cakes that were equallyun-impressive. I do think that they are catering to a certain clientel - an older set of customers. At the time I was there,it was certainly an older crowd. Read more
1 of the best meals we had in Penn incl Philly!! Yes. We loved the roast beef and Ham loaf. The fries was really good lightly... coated .. wife likes v much. Also the sides incl sweet potato chips.. corn puffs were v yummy. Will come back again. Parking isample and connected to Best Western. Only down side is normal brewed coffee... Read more
Love this place!! We've only eaten here 4/5 times, but it is always great!! Food is delicious, service is awesome and ambiance... is warm and cozy. It's really a nice restaurant. They serve breakfast until 2. Prices are reasonable. It's a hidden gem in Pa.You gotta try it out!! Update 2/20/21 Keep an eye on your check; during our last visit the waitress seemed to be just "makingup" prices for certain items. My daughter ordered one pancake and was charged 11.99!! Took forever to get it straightened out.Looking back, l should have taken it to the manager. Food was awesome, just watch your check!!! UPDATE 7/12/21 unfortunately Ihad to update my previous review to correspond with our last visit. We won't be coming back here. They were literally out ofalmost every breakfast menu item at 9am this morning. Not even busy. Waited 15 minutes for a table. One pancake costs 5.99!!!Wayyyyyy overpriced and skimpy menu. My daughter ordered French toast ( which they were out of) then blueberry muffin ( whichthey were out of) then the waitress suggested a glazed donut!! Seriously??? This place needs new management. Very nice restaurant conveniently connected with the Best Western Hotel. Pleasant, helpful staff, our server was such a sweet,... caring lady. Delicious food and quite reasonably priced. Definitely recommend! Read more
Big disappointment. I ordered a chicken wrap with avocado. The avocado was brown. The cooking staff said it was still edible?... Who wants to eat brown avocado? Who finds brown avocado appetizing? The waitress was courteous and understanding. She tookit off our tab. The waitress was the only reason I didn?t give it a worst rating. Read more
