Great indoor and outdoor venues, friendly staff, winery and cafe complement each other well, though the menu could use a little... expanding, and merlots need a little introducing (they?re missing from their cellar!)? Read more

We were not offered any drinks, just given water. Waitress was rude. When I thanked her for taking our order, her response was... "Yup". Dogs being allowed in the dining area. Do not see how this isn't a health violation. My food was gross. Ordered the fishfry. Came out overcooked and greasy. The fries tasted like the fish. Will never go there again Read more

Not sure how this got the 4.4 stars. Just stopped for lunch and I wish I hadn't. Rude waitress, the only thing we got to drink... was water. Never even asked if we wanted anything else to drink. When the word "YUP" came out of her mouth the tip went away. And the food was blahhhhh. I have had better. Oh not to mention they allow dogs where patrons are eating. Read more

Quite location, especially on workdays. We were here with the whole family on Monday. Got a table outside without any issues.... Very friendly service and of course the menu suitable both for adults and kids. Check the pulled pork sandwitch. You will neverforget it. :) Read more

We ate lunch at the Crystal Lake Cafe today because our choices were sparse. We had just been to the Taughannock Falls State... Park and were very hot from the hiking trails. It was hot and humid (August 21, 2019). When asked if we wanted to eat outdoorsor indoors, we asked if the indoor section was air conditioned. We were told flat out that it was. Well, it wasn't. But beingso tired, we stayed in the non-air conditioning. That set the tone of how our service was going to go. To cut to the chase, the Grilled Cheese, the Cuban sandwiches, and the wings were fine however, the potato fries were in the oil a little toolong. Our waitress never checked to see if everything was alright with our meals nor refilled our water, basically forgot thatwe existed totally. You say, "Well maybe it was busy or maybe we were in an out of the way table?" No to both. We were one ofonly two tables there and were right in the middle of the dining area. And, our waitress was friendly and outgoing to the onlyother table there - a Caucasian couple - as a matter of fact, she asked THEM how their meal was and was very nice to them. Yes,we are not Caucasian. We left a 15% tip (I know, we shouldn't have even left that) and wrote on the receipt what weexperienced. Our advice, skip this place. No food is good enough to tolerate this kind of treatment. Read more

Excellent food and wine in a charming atmosphere. Had an excellent meat and cheese plate with a glass of Americana Red, and... Chicken Riggie pasta. I had a visit from a friendly dinner guest! Read more

Prompt service. Food was very good with an interesting, varied menu for such a small place. I had NE clam chowder and corn... fritters with chipotle honey butter. My husband had the same soup with a tasty, ample sized smoked salmon salad. After a tastymeal on to a wine tasting @ Americana Winery. Read more

We visited during the Wine & Herb Festival and though the wait was a little long (but not surprising with how busy the place... was!) the food was absolutely delicious. The recipes are unique, the quality of the ingredients astounding. I was thoroughlyimpressed and can't wait to eat here again. Read more
