Customer service was great. For me, I can really see the great service and quality from the outside of the restaurant to the... table. If you like seafood Shrimp ?Mignonette? is one that I highly recommend. Then, Schnitzel Champignon for my main, the redcabbage from the dish and Schnitzel itself was the best! My mouth was playing in my mouth as theres a lot of things going onthere. When i ate my sister's Seafood ?Saint Jacques' I actually almost cried from nostalgia. I also ate Black Forrest and Coupe?Denmark?for dessert which I also highly recommend if you still have space for it. Read more
A truly authentic experience. Great food, a bit on the pricey side but the quality is there. Staff was friendly but seemed a... little rushed to get more customers through. Make sure to book a reservation and follow the dress code. Read more

This place reminds me of Continental Treat in Edmonton with a German flair and style. The food is excellent and the service is... top notch. I had the beef rouladen and it was very good. The portion of food was generous and found myself stuffed to the pointwhere I wanted dessert but held off for comfort reasons. The decor is what you would expect in a German styled restaurant. It'sa big place but has rooms to not give it that hall feeling. I wish it was here in Edmonton so that we could try the full menu asthere was quite a few dishes that sounded delicious. Eating at Black Forest Steak & Schnitzel Haus gives one the feeling of being transported off the continent to Germany. We... thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience and highly recommend this old world gem. With attention to detail, the owners givetheir guests a truly European experience. The food was tasty. The service timely with the waitresses dressed in Germangarb. The grounds are lovely with flowers, and water fountain, backing on to a forest in Invermere. Another fantastic featurewas the bird room. Patrons could view several different types of birds happily eating, flying, and interacting through largewindows. The ambiance is enhanced with hand painted murals, and details, with a memorial to the artist framed by thedoor. Great for a date night or special occasion. Thank you for this lovely experience. This is comfort food to the max! We had the 3 course deal which was the best bang for your buck. Everything tasted amazing.... Schnitzel was the best I ever had. The portions are huge. You will not leave hungry. And for dessert, bread pudding with rumraisin ice cream .. To. Die. For. It was mostly an older crowd here.. but they have great taste! You can't go wrong with meatand potatoes ???????? service was immaculate (hard to find these days). It is on the pricier side but worth it for a uniqueexperience. Tip: I'm not sure if people do this but there are definitely cooler areas to dine in the restaurant. There is anaviary that you can eat beside and I would request that if I came back. Also the room with all the hunted animals, not sure ifthat is only the bar area. But that would be a cool place to dine as well! Read more
