Menu for Copper Point Resort in Invermere, BC

Where to start.... this could easily have been 4 - 4.5 star review except for a couple things. Let's start with the bad... Our... room #314 that we had booked months in advance smelled very strongly of cigar smoke. It was so overbearing that we had to standout on the balcony while we figured it out with the front desk. It made us wonder if the room had been cleaned and if it had howdid the cleaners not notice. Let me be clear the second issue we had is personal preference for my wife and I and will not bethe same for others but should be noted...this Resort is 100% family-oriented way way way more than the website or other reviewsmake it seem. We were looking for a relaxing quiet get away and this was not it. The pool and hot tub were packed with families,and it was very load. The complaint is not about at all the families having fun, the complaint is the way the website makes theresort look more adult oriented then it is. The last complaint is minor but again should be noted. The furniture in the tworooms we had was old and showed lots of wear. The TVs were all very small and 2 of them had color issues due to their age. Forthe price paid I would expect the rooms and the amenities in the room to be kept up. The Good... Once the front desk found outabout our room smelling like smoke, they immediately upgraded us no questions asked. We ended up in room 418 which was a hugesuite. The rooms themselves are very well laid out and look amazing. Two balconies with BBQ's and great views. The staff areamazing the took care of the smoke issue right away and throughout the stay made sure that we were taken care of. The spa isamazing, great staff and great facilities. (4.5*) I will review separately. The restaurant was good. (4*) will reviewseparately The gym, pools, hot tubs and amenities were all amazing. It was beautiful and more than we expected. Full out condo with washer and dryer, fire places and full kitchen. The pools are... heated and well maintained. Staff is wonderful and very helpful. We are definitely booking there again. I wish we lived in theunit we booked. View was amazing. Best part was the staff though. We often get horrible service but not at all bad with thisplace. They treat you like you're a high end client at family affordable prices. It was so appreciated and made our holiday oneto remember. Read more

Room was clean, small but adequate. Staff was very friendly. Bed & linens comfortable. Would be great if there was a coffee bar.... There is a restaurant on site but only served a full buffet breakfast. Great if you want, & have time for, a big heartybreakfast but if you just want coffee with real cream, instead of the powdered stuff in the rooms, plus maybe a piece of fruit &yogurt, muffin etc there is not that option. This was a pleasant surprise. It was a poor guy's rich man retreat. Massive warm pool. Very nice hot tub. Workout room and... indoor pools. And the rooms? Well laid out and well built. I loved my ground floor patio. Read more

I came here about a week ago with my family. The room was very nice and clean but room service and pool weren?t good at all. We... had to order more towels because we weren?t provided as much as needed (we were a family of 6). I got my youngest sister to calland the woman at reception was a bit nice but it ended up taking about 30 minutes until my mother had enough. She called thereceptionist and asked where they were, the receptionist sighed and said she was gonna deliver it herself, she didn?t do it! Wewaited an HOUR for them to come. The pools are definitely not cleaned. The bottom of the indoor pool is all cracks and brokenfloor pieces which CUT our feet. There were bugs all over the pool bottom and top.
