Quite simply the best pizza, Palace Special, no mushroom. Whenever we get to Iowa City, it is THE go to.
Been here twice and it?s my favorite pizza joint. Great crust with a perfect balance of sauce and cheese. My 2nd time going they... accidentally made an error, but to make up for it they threw in another pizza for free! Gentleman owner and clean restaurant. Great place for great pizza in Iowa City. We had the Palace Special and a custom pie. Both were hot ND delicious when we got... them home. Flavorful sauce and toppings, crust was good as well. Not super thin crust, but also not doughy chicago styledeep-dish either. Give it try, you will be happy! Read more
What a hidden gem near the Iowa City downtown. Since they only serve pizza they sure know how to make a great one! We had beef... and a pepperoni, Italian sausage, and jalapeno that were both perfect! Great atmosphere and the staff was friendly andattentive. Read more

The service was good. Overall a good experience. The pizza sause tastes good. If you are a big fan of meat on pizza, definitely... go with the palace special, they are very generous with the toppings. I am not a big fan of beef on pizza but I wanted to trytheir special and was not my favorite. Their cheese tastes really good but they don't put much of it on the pizza, next time Iwill go with extra cheese. Read more
