I highly recommend Alebrije. Right off the bat, the atmosphere was very welcoming. The service was great and our server was very... knowledgeable and helped us select items from a great menu. Definitely have a Fresh Squeezed Margarita with chose of tequila.Started with Queso Fundido and ordered Chile Rellenos for an entree. So much yum! I recommend the Mexico City Sunrise cocktail, which is beautiful and delicious - it even has a candied hibiscus... flower. The choco flan cake was also delicious. Service was great! Read more
This place is amazing. Greeted immediately when came in the door. Seated right away. Ordered drinks- fresh house Margarita that... was light - not overly sweet at all and a Michelada ( Bloody Mary with beer). Great heirloom Mexican nachos and prickly pearcactus leaf salad. A very fresh take on Mexican food. Staff was very accommodating as our son was running late. Stayed openpast closing time so he could join us. Service and food were both phenomenal. Absolutely stunning restaurant! The ambiance is incredible here with the tall ceiling, loft and warm wood accents. The... chandeliers are even authentic to the local area and Mexico, which just brings it’s charm to the next level. I was verypleased with the esthetic of the bathroom. It was very clean with colorful sinks and mirrors are so sweet. Super stoked to havea fine dining Mexican restaurant in the area! Our host to greet us was warm and welcoming. My partner and I sat at the bar. Lukewas our bartender and he is so creative and talented! The first drink was a flaming pineapple margarita type drink with someyummy purée. It had a little kick to it, sexy to look at and was delicious! The second beverage was a Black Cherry Mojito withcucumber. It was super refreshing and accompanied my red snapper meal nicely! The menu has lots of good options. You can getfancy tacos and burritos for under $20 or if you want splurge a little more the entrees are abundant and all sound delicious. Ihad plenty of leftovers. My Red Snapper had a fabulous colorful presentation with green leaves and oranges. It had a spicy kickto it. As someone who generally doesn’t eat meat, I appreciated the seafood options and also have a vegan dish that soundstasty! My partner had the Carne Asada entree and he said it was very fresh and everything seemed to be meticulously hand made.The queso was super yummy, made with a stretchy cheese, had shrimp substituted for the meat and was amazing! We will definitelybe back and highly recommend! I feel like it would be perfect for a special occasion as well. They have the capability to hostlarge groups. This is a high end place with stunning décor and delicious food. We enjoyed lunch at a non -busy time. Our server was... knowledgeable and pleasant and the menu had many unusual drinks and dishes. Pricey but you get what you pay for. Read more
The best part of our experience was the amazing hosts, got our drinks and kept us in site during our experience. Our waiter was... less than communicative. Food had great flavor however was cold. It didn't take long to get the food or drinks. Wish it wasbetter, the atmosphere is amazing. Read more
Firstly, it is very expensive. One soup with tax came out at $ 20, a salad that was brought without dressing and it was just... “salad” - $19 Second one- soup and salad really awful Soup remind me just a water, even not hot and too much spicy. I couldnot even start these soup. Just didn’t want to tell my server that I didn’t enjoy at all. My friend got soup and 2 dishesfor himself. He didn’t like it too. Of course we left tip for guy, but food was awful, we didn’t finish. And left to thedifferent restaurant. But inside is really beautiful. Took my mother here because we don’t get the chance to eat authentic Mexican in our home town. Service was great, and the food... and decor was incredible. The margaritas were especially amazing. If you’re craving some real Mexican, this is the place togo. Read more
