Reviews for Hy-Vee Market Grille Express in Iowa City, IA
Called to ask what time the happy hour was. Nobody knew.
The price for beer and appetizers is great during happy hour. You can get 4 beers (craft on tap) and 2 large appetizers for... about 20 bucks. When the right chef is working, you can get some pretty well cooked food. Read more
Good food. Kind of pricey. Good service.
I ordered a Reuben sandwich and when it came, I could tell it had been made hours earlier. The bread was so soggy it fell apart... and the sandwich itself was cold. Read more
Good food. I like not having servers so I don't have to pay a tip but still eat there.
Incredible salad bar! I mean, newer HyVee stores often have great salad bars, but this sets "the bar"!!! (please forgive the... lame pun!) Awesome store throughout. Read more
It was busy, but still, no one came to my table and ask if everything was ok. In fact, I didn't have a waiter/waitress. Then I... went to checkout and found out it cost $20. $20 for brunch is okay, but for what they served....no. Mac & Cheese and other verycheap dishes. I should have stuck with going to Robert's Buffet in Riverside Iowa, same price with MUCH better food. Never againwill I go to brunch at HyVee Market Grille. Read more
